Copy/paste from my business 21st Century Dogs:
Sasha is on the lookout for a new home. Sasha is about 3.5 years old, absolutely beautiful, walks well on a leash, is housebroken, currently lives with a cat, is crate trained, rides well in a car, and is a great adventure companion. Like any good Husky she also has a sense of humor, a little glint of mischief and at times a flair for the dramatic. I've been walking her 3 days a week for a little over a year, and she's grown up so much in that time. With a little direction and a treat to sweeten the deal, she is very guidable and light on the leash. She gets compliments on nearly every walk--both for her beauty and for her manners. Her owners love her very much and have taken remarkable care of her, but as they are in their mid-80s, they are finding that care difficult to keep up with. Are you the perfect person Sasha is looking for? Get in touch with Dennis at (203)312-6105 or [email protected]. I'd like to offer discounted walks for Sasha for the first two weeks at her new home to help her settle in. She is a gem to brighten up life for someone out there! Please share this post so that Sasha's future person sees it!
Look at this absolute muppet that is up for adoption:
I’m obsessed, he’s such a creature! I wish I could take him 😭
I had to go see him in person and boop his snoot.
He’s a half Newfoundland breed and half poodle, and was rescued with a horrible case of mange. The mange has been treated but his hair loss may or may not be permanent, time will tell. I love this poor unfortunate soul, I wish I could afford another dog. (His adoption fee is waved, though, so he’s free if you can provide his care. If you live in Rhode Island or nearby, go visit him!

In MD and surrounding areas: Adoptable Louie is also a big personality in a small package!

Meet Louie2: Tiny Body, Big Personality
Louie may have been listed as 13 at the shelter, but according to the vet, he’s aging like fine wine; more like 10, with a strong heart, decent teeth, and a spring in his step that says “age is just a number.” His bloodwork came back clean, heartworm and tick tests were negative, and his fecal test? Clear across the board. He’s officially healthy and ready for adoption!
Now, full disclosure: Louie dislikes the vet. Like, put-on-the-cat-gloves level of drama. One minute he’s your affectionate lap dog… the next, he’s throwing a full tantrum. But give him five seconds and he’s back to his sweet, snuggly self.
Louie is fearless, vocal, and hilariously bold. He’ll leap onto your lap, your couch, or even your extra large foster dog roommate without a second thought (who, for the record, didn’t love him at first, mostly because Louie stole her teddy bear and humped it). But they’ve worked things out and coexist peacefully now.
He’s crate trained, keeps a clean house, and goes in on his own when he’s ready for a nap. He’s also a world class cuddler. If you’re not available for snuggles, he’ll settle for curling between your feet yes, even while you're at your desk or in the bathroom.
We haven’t tested him with cats (his foster is allergic), but he’s great at following his people around, staying close, and making you feel like the center of his tiny universe.
hey dogblr. I'm currently fostering this stray dog from my neighborhood. Likely around a year old, she has great teeth. Got her up to date on vaccines, treated for intestinal parasites, heartworm negative and just got 6 month heartworm prevention shot.
Located in Mississippi but I can meet someone for the right home. Potty trained. Shes good on a leash and in a kennel but she is a chewer. Still a baby and could use some training.
She loves to snuggle and she carries around her blanket when we let her out of the kennel.
We've been calling her Poppy and we think she may be a lab/husky mix.

EDIT: HE GOT ADOPTED!
Meet Claudia, we found her abandoned at 8wks old, hiding in muddy grass beside the highway near the Port of Brownsville (Texas) industrial area. She's around 9 weeks old and looking for a forever home. Vaccinated and dewormed. Looks like a mini schnauzer, heeler mix, currently ~7lbs.
A gentle and human-focused puppy, great with all animals and kids. Seems like she will be a small-medium size dog with a natural off switch but eager to explore and play. Food motivated. She’s social and is basically down for whatever. She enjoys going to new places, meeting new people & dogs but she doesn’t obsess about them, makes her great for bringing in public. Claudia’s already spent a few days in the classroom with me at the university, just sleeping on a labcoat on the floor. Watching the students work.
UPDATE: she’s been adopted to a really wonderful home!
