yamaguchi would pick flowers for you from his mother’s garden and present them to you with a heavy blush and shy grin.

yams feels like he has to constantly touch you in some way. like he’s afraid of losing you. sometimes he holds your pinky, and other times, he just pulls you into a long hug between classes. i love him:((( <//3

yamaguchi always feels like he has to be touching you in some way, but he has to work himself up in order to do so. he knows he could just ask you or just do it, he knows that you wouldn’t mind at all, but there’s something that prevents yamaguchi from just reaching for you without overthinking it.

so his touches are quiet and subtle - a hand against the small of your back when the hallways are too crowded, a brush of your shoulders when you’re walking home together, and when he works up the nerve, a linking of your pinkies when you’re studying.

but when you bounce up to yamaguchi, shoving your test in his face and rambling about how you aced it, he doesn’t think before he scoops you up in a hug. he pulls away quickly, apologies spilling from his lips, but he’s cut off when you pull him back into the hug.

maybe yamaguchi shouldn’t worry so much.
