A Band of Brothers, the dice game, is an adaptation of an ancient game called Help Your Neighbor, and has been incorporated into #AdventurePost. Greetings, Adventurer! 2020 has been one hell of a year, we’ve all faced new stresses and struggles, we’ve seen tragedies, and we have seen far too many lights go out. Our sympathies, for what they’re worth, for anyone and everyone struggling this year. We are with you, you are not alone, and there are people in this world that care. I do not intend to downplay that in any way, but our Hero has faced some troubles as of late as well. This episode, Hollow’s Eve: The Crypt, comes in before the end of Chapter 1 of the Playful Necromancer. So far, the Hero has had run-in after run-in with bandits and other unfortunate creatures and, just recently, put an end to the reign of the Bandit Leader, Eduard. Please see the intro and outro narrative bits of each episode you’ve missed so far (included in the text), and our story continues with The Crypt! There are five steps to take before you take off on your adventure: 1. Read, and if you want to, fill out the introduction to The Playful Necromancer 2. Pick a system; either Adventure Post (see page 7) or EverWyrd (see page 13) 3. Create your character and read the rules 4. Cut and assemble your cutout miniatures 5. Gather your Adventure Text and dive, head first, into the fun!
