MOVIE TRAILER ASS EDIT 😤
"Arthur taught you to fish now, did he?" "Yeah, I suppose he did."
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH 🥳
Something that sucks about the RDR/RDR2 fandom is that when you try to talk about the questionable morality and hypocrisy of the Pinkertons, Bureau of Investigations, ect. people always shout "Oh, so you think the crimes the Van Der Linde gang committed were okay?"
No, but what about the crimes Milton and Ross committed? 🤨
Agents Ross and Milton, and John!!
I just needed Ross for smth then decided to js draw Milton too
Just realised i gave Ross and John the same chest marking by accident? LOL
Look what misinformation was spread in your absense
Pfff. what?
well okay
pls say y'all understand the irony
part 2
the great rat debate
hi time for another micah bell rdr2 ramble post
so ive seen across the entire community people debating whether or not micah was actually the rat or not.
ive wondered this myself as well, so for my small analysis im going to be going off of how peter said micah's lines and his facial expression when they were acting.
every time micah denies being a rat to arthur, in my opinion, it is difficult to tell whether or not the denial is a "oh shit he caught me, and im pissed about it" denial, or a "for fucks sake i am not the rat"
don't get me wrong micah was 100% a scumbag and you can see in earlier missions in chapter 6 from the way he was talking that he wanted arthur and john to die, and of course no one would logically put it past him that he would throw others under the bus to survive.
however, the tone of his voice is really what throws me off. he keeps denying it, and youd think hes just denying it due to his pride or to keep his image in front of dutch and even arthur.
however, if arthur knows, why would he keep denying it?
of course, that can simply be answered with "arthur can tell dutch for certain"
at the same time, the way he denies it is so weird to me. like he doesnt sound necessarily frustrated over the fact he was caught, he sounds frustrated that he would be accused of that in the first place that he did it. every time he denies it to arthur, and arthur argues back, it feels like two brothers quarreling. it feels like arthur is the brother going "but mommmm, he broke the lamp" and micah is yelling back "I DID NOT BREAK THE LAMP", which he in fact didnt, neither of them knew who broke the lamp.
now theres a chance it could be both, like i said, he could be denying it due to his own pride (hence why he looks and sounds like hes upset of being accused of such a thing), and to cover up against dutch and the others. but whats weird is that the man prides himself on being a survivor, so youd think he'd add this section to his little speech about "being a survivor" as arthur and micah fight.
going to milton, its hard to tell whether or not he said this out of truth or just to have the gang itself collapse so the pinkertons can collect the rewards. from the tone of his voice, he could be telling the truth, but when arthurs voices his surprise, milton just kind of repeats himself and doesnt sound surprised that arthur didnt even know himself. his tone also kind of reeks of "i can fuck up the gang some more by saying this", but again its very hard to tell since we dont see milton a lot in the game or have him speak.
anyways what does everyone else think? im still a believer that micah was most likely the rat, but i think its interesting to explore the dynamics, other possibilities, and how the actors acted out their lines with their facial expressions to compliment it to get across what might actually be going on.
