The most memorable scene that first comes to mind is in the last of your Crossword AU series where Sam gets beamed up by the Asgard in the middle of groin-smooshing-activity, and then Jack is beamed up with his knickers around his knees and "things" just hanging and swinging around! Makes me giggle just thinking about it! XD

Ah, yes! That was peak comedy! XD

Poor Jack who tried to have a good time and got interrupted in the rudest way.

Poor Sam who introduced a semi-naked boyfriend to her unfazed ally.

Poor Ellie who didn't understand what just happened.

And damn Thor!!! shakes fist for his impeccable timing!

23. fics you wanted to write but didn’t

Man oh man. There were a boatload of fics I started/thought about but didn't. A few random ones:

the Shades of Grey AU that @sententiousandbellicose and I talked about once...it was going to be angsty and beautiful. It will still be angsty and beautiful, because I finally finished In All Duty and Service and can now focus on other multichap fic!

The "must be married to be on SG team" AU that @carothepoet and I were SO excited about a bit ago. I keep writing random scenes of this but it kinda deserves more than just snippets and I really want to give it that time

And I haven't forgotten about Somewhere Beyond the Sea! Kibbs is still something I think about and I still want to develop Kate. I've got one or two chapters written but I don't really like them yet. And I think I need some planning since this fic will be very time-jump-y

“Oh my God, we’re kidnappers!” Rose looked down in horror at the fluff in the Doctor’s hand.

They were in the TARDIS, zooming away from a planet full of bigger thats, when the Doctor had felt something moving in his pocket.

“We might have napped? And it is a kid. But it wasn’t intentional! It must have climbed in when I wasn’t looking.”

Rose scooped up the puff and pet it. “We have to take it back to its parents!”

“No parents. More of a collective, really.”

“Well then, its collective must be missing it!”

“About that. Not sure it could integrate back in after a few hours gone.”

“You’re kidding.”

“Nope.”

Rose continued to pet the puffball. “Guess that makes you its dad now.”

“I suppose that makes you its mum.”

“I dunno. Does it mean I’m its mum if you’re the dad?”

The Doctor suddenly looked like a deer in headlights, and jolted into motion. “Right! If I calculate this perfectly we’ll be back only a minute after we left! Fluff Jr. will be back in no time.”

Rose grinned at him. “Aww, and here I wanted to name him after you.”

The Doctor tried not to smile.

I want you to know, thanks to this (awesomeamazingspectacular) fic list you've put together, my 'fics to reread' bookmark folder has grown from somewhere around 30 to nearly 200(!), and my 'fics I haven't read yet but I really really want to' folder has exploded from 220-ish to neaRLY EIGHT HUNDRED!!! So TA for that!!! 😍

Oh, you have no idea how happy that makes me. I mean, sure, it sucks that I haven’t gotten around to finishing it and it’s still a work-in-progress, but it’s great to hear people still want to read more. I don’t think it’s going to let me go anytime soon either and I’ll keep poking at it.

I got all excited about the Amnesia Sam fic again when I looked into my notes for it. Maybe it’s time to revisit that one sometime soon, do a little brainstorming perhaps?
