my head has been filled with kirishima and mina caregiving for little bakugo, this whole post is just rambling so … sorry if it’s a bit incoherent.
v rambles below v
i love the bakusquad but i can imagine bakugo’s social battery being drained so easily, like he loves his friends but occasionally kirishima will pull him aside. mina will have some agere gear she bought for him, in her purse/bag, she’ll pull out a pacifier or a bottle and ya they’re just in the corner with bakugo as he suckles on a pacifier, covering his mouth with his sleeve. sero, denki, and jirou are used to it honestly.
orrr like they’re having dinner as friends, some restaurant and mina brings bakugo a sippy cup/bottle and he hides it in his lap whenever their server checks on them
lowkey kiri gets jealous of when mina can easily get bakugo to drink water or stop fussing (or vice versa). and sigh i want a fic of mina and kirishima just being jealous of each other and competing whos the best cg. and overbearing/coddling bakugo and bakugo just gets tired of their shit and goes to izuku😭
ugghh i love them i need them to play mario kart together and bakugo keeps getting first so mina and kiri team up against him to win which leads bkg to lose and to start bawling, and mina and kiri have to comfort their baby
someone make a fic out of these ideas or i’ll have to and that’s gonna take like a yr
I feel bad for not constantly posting things but I think it’s important to prioritize one’s own life over your blog.
I like making board collections, I just wish I could stop my perfectionism from bleeding into everything I make.
I would like to make so many more things, but it’s like when I actually sit down my brain fogs up and I can’t think fo anything. I want to be able to get creative on my own, but I just freeze up mentally. Maybe I should start writing them down…
I do read all your asks, it’s just that I need to be in a specific mindset to respond because I want to offer my full attention so that my responses will reflect that. I wanna make sure I’m engaged and giving you the best answer possible.
I always try to keep the queue full, especially with new content. But since the community has shrunk a bit since I started it’s not as easy. But I hope you’re still finding new things to enjoy here.
Sometimes I worry I don’t do enough for you all. I just hope this is a fun place for you to browse and I’m not someone you’ve grown tired of.
I think I limit myself more than I used to. Which gives me more free time, but it also makes it so I’m not constantly working on the daycare like I used to. And I wonder if people prefer one or the other.
I feel like I don’t often talk about these things as I try to keep a positive atmosphere, but I also think it’s important to express these things. We can’t always be happy and that’s okay. I find that being honest with people is more important than anything. Sometimes I get sad just like you. All we can do is talk through our feelings and work out a healthy solution.
I sometimes worry that this blog isn’t enough. It’s popular, a lot of people know of it. But I feel like I should be doing so much more. But instead I just let it sit quietly. I just wish I could do everything instead of nothing. But I guess that’s executive distinction… I have so many things but I just can’t get myself to work on them.
Sorry if this was a lot. I’ve just had a lot on my mind…
Think of this as the daycare bulletin board. Just something to read in passing for those who are curious.
and for those who are also struggling with executive dysfunction and perfectionism and procrastination, I hope you’re able to find your spark again and feel motivated to work on your creative pursuits ❤️
Just thinking of training a little puppy while they’re deeply regressed in pet space, and trying to teach your pup some tricks with a clicker, just for your puppy to whine and not listen, just to find out your puppy needed some love. <3
“What’s wrong pup? You’re usually so good at this… Is everything feeling okay puppy? You don’t have to speak to tell me— would you just want to stop—Hm? Ohh… I see sweetheart, you just wanted some attention, hm? Some head scratches?”
Caregiver sits down, setting the clicker to the side and letting their pup get closer and cuddling up with them on the floor.
“Awh pup, you just wanted pawpa’s love, huh? Yeah you did! And I’ll give you all of it!!”
Caregiver rubbed a hand through their pup’s hair, and another hand lightly scratches under their chin.
“How about we do this another day, pup? Does that sound good to you? Okay then puppy!”
Where I got the divider!! Puppy divider and I got it from @bernardsbendystraws
something that always helps us get into the caregiver mindset is watching those tiktoks of stay at home parents and spouses doing things around the house and living their lives yknow. like watching the baby, cleaning, diying, etc. its special to us
