Our re-showing was interrupted by a small child who decided to, uh, rather dramatically let us know he has a stomach bug, so, y’know. Extra charming.

Made me remember why it wouldn't make me cry. I took my daughter and her friend to see that film (they must have been about 5 years old) and at the end of that montage and daughter's friend pipes up across the crowded cinema in the way only little kids can... "I think that old lady's dead." Moment ruined.
That moment when your daughter blows up Moscow and films a video singing the imperial anthem absolutely fucking up everything.
Me talking to my 2 yo: they left you?! Those butts!
My sister: I’m not a butt!
My 5 yo: Noooo, Pearl’s not a butt
Me: both of you are butts!
My sister: Mom is a butt!
Me: Yeah mom is the biggest butt of all
*Kids all start laughing*
I was out in my roof cleaning it and I happened to look over into my neighbors property cause I heard a kid scream and I saw her 5 year old son just full on running for his life in the nude and then the mom running after him yelling “MICHAEL HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO PUT ON CLOTHES!!” And the kid is laughing while running and just yells “NEVER!”
And I’m just laughing my ass off because I was the same way to my mom I HATE clothes my whole life.
Also this happened . . .
And then she put that elbow on my neck and pressed down to sit up, eliciting an involuntary “NGAHKTHHHH” noise from my throat.
Then my laughter woke her up.
Feanor was the 'let's the kid's swear parent' as long as it wasn't in public. He probably cracked up laughing if one of his kids did that thing where they tired to say one word (like frog) but it came out like fuck. This would be something that Mae would later inherit with the twins.
This made me snort because I was totally that parent who was laughing too hard to correct my kids when they mispronounced a word and made it dirty. The kiddo used to pronounce “ice” as “ass” and that made for some pretty hilarious moments! But yeah, I can see that happening with Maedhros and the twins!
