When Ryder met Shepard on the Citadel, Ryder told Shepard how he looked up  to him. Shepard was excited to see a young individual be confident in who they are and be so sure of themselves. So after taking a picture together, Shepard told Ryder, “I’ll see you on the other side. Maybe one day we’ll go through a relay together.”

After finding Meridian, Ryder turned in the general direction of the Milky Way, saluted, and repeated the line back to Shepard.

So I missed the conversation about the heritage/nationality backgrounds of our Ryders in the discord server today so I'm posting it here.

Ahnzo, Ali, Alec & Adelina: Alec and Adelina met during his n7 training in the Mediterranean, they had a house in Southern Italy after the twins were born. After the First Contact War, they moved to the Citadel.

Alec, Ellen, Morríghan, and Séamus: Irish/Scottish. Grew up on Earth in Ireland for most of their life, visited their dad on the Citadel occasionally but stuck to System Alliance space due to Ellen's research.

Ellen & Sara: Indian. Ellen had Sara and raised her as a single mom before meeting Alec & Scott when the kids were around 8 years old and Scott was showing signs of biotic abilities.

Alec, Viktor, Ellen, Sara: German. Viktor and Sara weren't close at all, and the rift between them grew exponentially after their mom died and more so after Andromeda.

The kind of posts they reblog: Ahnzo is into 80′s and 90′s punk music as well as modern (as in us today, 2017ish) rock and goth music. He would post a lot of concerts, inspirational stuff about his idols, people he looks up to.

He would also talk about a lot of non-binary/trans stuff, as well as a lot of asexual positivity and gay positivity.
