I turned the Hades statue into a painting. It looks a little weird, but since this is my first time doing something like this in digital art, I'll add it to my list of accomplishments
Also this is the same statue drawn in my style:

I have moderate support needs autism, multiple mental illnesses (mostly trauma-based) and comorbid developmental, communication, coordination, and learning disabilities. I am also chronically ill and in a wheelchair.
I recently switched to a new aide agency for my 6-7 hours per day of hands on care. We've been together maybe 3 months. The owner and I have talked a lot about accommodating my autism because my Waiver is for my physical disabilities, and the agencies are not specifically trained on autism (though I have an autism coach, speech therapist, and psychologist who are).
However, the agency has decided that my self-injurious meltdowns, which happen 6ish times a day at baseline but usually only 1-2 of those times is while an aide is here, are "violent and aggressive", even though I only hurt myself, and put in 30 days' intent to terminate services with my Waiver Coordinator.
I can't even set up my own tube feeds or manage my own meds, get dressed, shower, have errands run, etc. without aides. My Waiver Coordinator is finding me a new agency, but I wrote her and asked her what the plan is to make sure the new agency is educated on autism and specifically my autism so this doesn't keep being a cycle.
My autism coach, who is my authorized representative with insurance, is also going to reach out.
But the answer I usually get to that question is that I should be on a Board of DD Waiver, and I do not qualify for one, not to mention all new Waiver applications are suspended in my state for 2 years. So physical health Medicaid Waiver is what I've got.

allow yourself to be imperfect in your worship. allow yourself to be simple in your gestures and libations. allow yourself to place inexpensive trinkets on your altar; the gods, heroes and ancestors aren’t about ostentation or expensive wines or other drinks or foods you offer them. the only thing that matters to them is your love. your honesty. your reaching out and talking to them is more significant than anything else.
I have a question for those who use walkers/rollators:
If you sit down on it can someone push you?
I had to quit a walk with my stick today before we even made it to the park because I knew I just couldn’t manage more and I’d still have the return journey and I was almost in tears coming back because I just feel like I’m missing out on so much!
Now I know they’re not meant to be used for it, but I also want to encourage myself to keep walking so won’t always want to go out in a wheelchair. So can you be pushed on a walker/rollator in a pinch at least for some distance?
For the love of all that is holy, DON'T USE TOILET BOWL CLEANER IN A SHOWER, especially if said shower is used by A DISABLED PERSON! Jesus fecking christ I wasn't aware a shower could be that slick. I have a bad left leg and honestly don't know how I got out of THAT with just a bruise. I was slipping and sliding all over the place like a freaking bad comedy scene in a movie with no laugh track. My new aide (yes the old one is gone) is very sweet and much more competent than the last one, but oh man did I not plan on needing to double label things saying what NOT to use them on.
0/10 would not recommend!
