Finally done with my short Aidori comic, yipee! It’s inspired by Vampire Knight Guilty Ep 6. My young me would be screaming right now because she wished this actually happened! love drawing Zero teasing Hanabusa, just like how he teased him with Sayori in VK Memories manga!

Anyways, I'm out of juice hahaha. Time to snooze.

Hanabusa Aido: the man that you are....

It's crazy to think about.... for ALMOST a thousand of years, Hanabusa has lived without Yori.

I can't imagine all that loneliness, that pain, and that longing to see her again.... it's gotta hurt.....

After she died, he NEVER remarried. He NEVER dated anyone else. He didn't even shown to have crushes on anyone either. That man deeply loved Sayori. He stayed COMMITTED to her even after her death a long time ago.

He loved her so much. He couldn't even see himself being with anyone after her. Hanabusa still THINKS about Sayori throughout these centuries, after she has long since been dead. He is always thinking about her.... agh! My heart!

Few times we seen in VKM, he thought about giving up, but then he thinks of Sayori. He reminds himself to not quit. So he pushes himself to keep going. Again, and again. Eventually all that effort and research he has accumulated over the years, it becomes worth it towards the end. The cure was eventually made.

Honestly... Hanabusa definitely earned to rest at the end. Poor guy lived nearly a thousand of years without his wife. He deserves to see her again.

Hanabusa Aido, the man that you are... He is truly one of a kind.

How far he has come too, because it's crazy to think this is the same character from volume 1 in VK. The guy that was enjoying the attention from the day class girls and acting like a little gremlin sometimes lol

Aidori Headcanons

A/N: I wanted to write this for so long so here you go!

-Yori's father was overjoyed that she had found herself an even more affluent man than the fiancée he picked. She hated how he kept trying to butter himself up to the Aido clan and honestly found it so embarrassing that she went low contact very quickly. -Everyone in their friendgroup babysat the kids. Even Senri and Rima. Senri was suprisingly well-liked because of the amount of candy he had brought. -Yori's official office as a politician was filled with pictures of her family. She'd even framed a childhood drawing of Seiya. Her home office was even WORSE. Inspired by Kaien Cross, she wanted to leave as many behind for her family as she could. -Considering Saya called Seiya her uncle, Yori and Hanabusa had a 2nd child. -Because of the political chaos, they decided to raise their 2nd born in hiding and Saya's parents have remained in hiding as they're so used to living that way. It's where Ruka and Akatsuki got the idea. -It was in hiding, that Hanabusa got the idea to expand his lab and work on resources that would eventually allow the vampire race to hide during the war. -Seiya is as overprotective of his younger sibling as he is about Yori's memory. -Yori was generally the emotionally stable parent. Whilst Hanabusa helped his children with their careers and navigating vampire politics, Yori was the parent for relationship advice and friendship drama. Seiya still misses her wise, kind advice. -Saya's older brother remained with their parents in hiding because he did not wish for his parents to feel lonely. Yori's 2nd child barely had any friends due to growing up in hiding but did find love with one of Seiya's close friends from Cross Academy. -Seiya shares his father's passion for science from an early age and the two blew up Hanabusa's own office space at home. Yori demanded they buy the nearest building and convert it to an official lab as she didn't wanted their house to explode. -When it turnt out that Saya also had a passion for science, Hanabusa and Seiya would always go shopping for the nicest childfriendly science kits together whenever her birthday came up. -Saya and Seiya's names are low-key a nod to Yori's full name. To memorialize her, Hanabusa wanted their descendants to be named loosely after her so that her legacy would live on in name. -The Aido family is the typical tight-knit loving family with Hanabusa being really close to his sisters and also why he was best friends with his cousin from the moment the boys crawled out of the womb. So the Aido clan adored her deeply. His sisters treated her like she was part of their girl gang and always included her in their girl's nights. -When Yori became old and brittle, they turned these nights into sessions where they'd doll up an old Yori and tell her that she would always stay beautiful in their eyes. These moments meant a lot to Yori in her final days and she felt blessed to have such sweet in laws. -Hanabusa's sisters are dotting aunts who spoilt the kids rotten. -The impact of their marriage made Hanabusa's sisters realize what they should want in the future and the sisters think the couple is the epitome of romance. Tsukiko side-eyed her father for trying to pawn her off to Kaname Kuran instead of letting her seek her own happiness for decades to come. -Tsukiko and Yori had at least one drunken conversation in which they roasted their fathers for these things. -One of Hanabusa's other sisters decided to start a support group for grieving vampires as with the rise in vampire-human relationships due to the cure, there needed to be a cultural change as to how vampires dealt with grief. -After witnesseing the execution of that grieving vampie widow and her child, Ren decided to hand out pamphlets and spread awareness about the grief support group. -After the war, Yori's political efforts were restored and she & Hanabusa actually made it into the history books as an influential power couple who set the tone for a new era in vampire-human relations.
