It was a beautiful day in the Garden Of Sweet Delights, & two Cookies were cuddling each other underneath the clouds: Angelic Cream Cookie, & his beautiful wife Eternal Sugar Cookie.
Eternal Sugar is napping soundly on her husband's lap. Angelic Cream Cookie was gently stroking her hair, listening to the quiet ambience of the Garden. His other hand moves down to the large bump in her abdomen. Based on the size, he could safely say that she was about 7 months along. He feels the baby kick at that moment, which causes a soft smile to appear on his face.
A little later, the sun was going down, and the sky was beginning to darken. Angelic Cream softly nudges his wife.
"Sugar, my sweetheart..."
Eternal Sugar opened her eyes & sat up. She let out a big yawn before wiping her tired eyes & putting her hands on her pregnant bump.
"Hello, my apple..."
"It's getting late. We should be off to bed...", Angelic Cream said in his soft voice.
"We should... Sweetie, can you accompany me to my chambers?", Eternal Sugar said, rubbing her pregnant stomach & looking at her husband's brown eyes with her pretty pink ones.
"Of course, my dear...", Angelic Cream said. He picks up his wife into a bridal-style carry & takes off, his little wings carrying them into the sky. Eternal Sugar blushes as she's carried by her knight in shining armor.
Angelic Cream Cookie lands near Eternal Sugar's chambers, gently setting her down. Angelic Cream then looks at his wife with slight concern.
"My love, are you going to be OK...?"
Eternal Sugar gives him a reassuring kiss on the cheek. "Of course I will, my dear. If I need anything, I'll have Pavlova Cookie come and get you, OK?"
Angelic Cream smiles. "Of course, my Sugar. I just want to make sure you're safe. You and our little one." He once again looks down at his wife's pregnant stomach, blushing at the fact that his biological child was growing inside her womb.
"Thank you, darling. My child will be loved & cherished with you as the father..."
"Hehe... I know." Angelic Cream Cookie & Eternal Sugar give each other one more passionate kiss. "I love you so much, my sweet apple..."
"I love you more, my beloved Sugar... Get some well-needed rest..."
Eternal Sugar then walks into her chambers. With a heart so full it's about to burst, Angelic Cream Cookie begins to make his way to his own chambers.

The months went by fast. Eternal Sugar was 9 months along now, and Angelic Cream Cookie & Eternal Sugar Cookie always had each other by their side throughout the pregnancy. Wild cravings, nausea, even relaxing cuddles. He was ready for it all. He would keep his wife & his little one safe and well. No matter the cost.
Until one night. A night he was not prepared for. The day he and his wife had been waiting for had finally arrived.
Angelic Cream Cookie was up very early that night. He was sitting in his reading chair, a large stack of pregnancy & parenting books next to him. He was holding a cup of coffee in one hand, trying to keep himself awake. Just as he took his first sip, Pavlova Cookie came rushing in.
At first, Angelic Cream thought this was another one of his love pranks, but he had a scared a look on his face, so he could tell this is serious.
"Pavlova Cookie? What's wrong?"
"The baby is coming! Queen Eternal Sugar Cookie is in labor with your child!"
The moment he said that, Angelic Cream Cookie's world froze. He was completely silent. He then spit out scalding hot coffee from his mouth, got up from his chair, and started panicking.
"She's WHAT!? Where is she!? I need to get to her NOW."
Pavlova Cookie puts an arm on his shoulder. "Sir Angelic Cream Cookie, it's gonna be alright. She's doing fine. She wants you by her side for the birth, so let's not waste anymore time."
"Right!"
Pavlova Cookie takes Angelic Cream Cookie to Eternal Sugar Cookie's chambers, where she is surrounded by Sugar Angels. She was laboring on the ground, a puddle of water underneath her.
"Dear... is that you...?", Eternal Sugar Cookie says through contractions.
"Yes, dear. I'm here now. Everything's going to be OK. I'll help you through this."
"T-Thank you, honey...", Eternal Sugar Cookie says. She starts doing breathing exercises to help with the pain.
"Hold on tight. I'm going to take you back to my chambers now."
He quickly picks up his wife in a carry, then spread his wings and took off. Pre-parental panic gave him the biggest rush of adrenaline he ever had in his life. Eternal Sugar Cookie was heavy due to the weight of the baby inside her, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. He flew until he was back his own personal chambers.
"Coming through! We've got a new bundle of joy coming here!"
Eternal Sugar was feeling the urge to push now. He sets his wife down, sits next to her, & holds her through the pain.
The sound of a young baby dough wailing a few minutes later was enough to bring Angelic Cream to tears. "Congratulations... It's a girl..."
After checking that the commotion outside was clear, it was just Eternal Sugar, Angelic Cream, and their little daughter.
The two lovers admired their hybrid baby dough, the newest addition to the world of Earthbread. The little child had her father's light dough & chocolate brown hair, and two pink-brown gradient eyes. She also had the smallest pair of wings on her back, which looked exactly like her father's.
"How adorable... She looks just likes you...", Eternal Sugar says tiredly.
Angelic Cream showed concern towards Eternal Sugar. She worked so hard to bring this baby into the world, and she needed some well-deserved rest.
"Here, Sugar. Let me hold the child... You need to get some sleep, you've earned it."
Eternal Sugar chuckles tiredly. "Thank you, my sweet apple..."
Angelic Cream could feel another tear shed as he heard the giggling & cooing sounds that his daughter was making. When the child tried to reach for her father as he was stroking her hair, he could feel his heart swell with love. "She's so beautiful...", he said as he wiped another tear from his eye.
"I've been thinking of the perfect name for her lately. How about Fudge Blessing Cookie?"
Eternal Sugar giggled a bit. "Fudge Blessing... That sounds perfect. dear..."
"You're gonna be so loved, Fudge Blessing... *yawn*" Angelic Cream was starting to get tired himself, as the adrenaline spike from earlier had worn off. Eternal Sugar Cookie was asleep now, holding on to her husband & snuggling him.
He gives her & Blessing Icing kisses on the cheek, and before falling asleep himself, he says a sentence that his deceased ancestor, Akbrain Cookie, once said long ago.
"Sweet dreams, my beloved girls..."
