TLK: For shame
"My cubs are not playthings, Juhudi!"
Kovu knew he didn't need to growl or yell. That, in different circumstances, he would have been peacefully quiet while Kiara handled the politics and diplomacies whenever a misundertanding happened. Specially when the herbivores were involved.
But this was supposed to be a family day. And he didn't like when someone messed up with his family.
"Uhm." The giraffe nodded while licking the fur of the calf under her.
"Are you even listening to me?!", Kovu asked.
"Oh, of course! But, you see, my little Tunu wasn't playing with your... little ones, he was training!"
"Teke Ruka Teleza!", the calf exclaimed.
"Yes, yes, Tunu! You got it!" Juhudi looked back at Kovu. "Isn't the Prince happy to see his subjects learning to protect themselves?"
Kovu scoffed. "Protecting them from what? My cubs? They are barely out of their spots!"
"Oh, but you see," she said, "the little ones are the most dangerous. They play cute and wait for us to let our guard down, and then they jump and bite us on our exposed necks!"
"We...we weren't going to do that!" Akili mumbled, hiding under her father's mane.
"We were just walking to the waterfall..." Moyo said.
"And how is my boy supposed to know? You all Outsiders look and act the same." The tall giraffe directed her big eyes towards the male cub. "Specially this one that looks exactly like Scar. He is only missing his mark. Spirits know how Simba isn't scared of him, I sure am!"
Moyo lowered his head, covering his left eye with Kovu's paw.
"Excuse me?!" Kovu didn't hesitate to show his teeth this time.
"You are excused." Juhudi smiled. Before Kovu could reply, Tunu made a face, sticking out his tongue towards him and making a farting noise. Juhudi's smile grew more. "Aw, you are just like Uncle Bunga! He would be proud!" Licking Tunu's head once more, she raised her long neck, ignoring the lions. "Now, are you ready to show your moves to Hamu, my baby? He is waiting for us."
"Yes, momma!"
And with that, both giraffes left, the echoes of 'Teke Ruka Teleza!' ringing under Hakuna Matata's falls.

I present to you all, Tunu ("precious gift"). He is going to be Moyo's antagonist during his reign. Considering how the Pridelanders are, I wouldn't put pass them to twist a wholesome lesson.
Tunu is a reticulated giraffe!
