Did anyone else notice that Web Weaver’s Silk never actually clearly uses Spider powers? The closest thing we have is him absconding in a way that looks like he could be swinging away or wall climbing but it’s not like we ever see him shoot webs or ever have any web slinging sfx clearly around him. He could be good at parkour or he could be climbing up a ladder in the second to last panel for all we know.

(Plus notice how the criminals aren’t webbed up which is normally a spider hero staple)

There’s also the maybe use of silk sense but since Albert is in his street clothes at that moment it’s not like he’s going to advertise that.

I know it’s probably nothing but it would be interesting/funny if he didn’t actually have any powers and was more of regular person who decided to be a vigilante.

Edit: so this theory has been canonly debunked as of Venomverse Reborn #3. It was fun while it lasted
