Ref sheet for one of my earlier RaM OCs, Alchemist Rick (W-074)

He's a very reserved Rick who is known for his collection of mythical and exotic Mortys from fringe dimensions within and outside of the Central Finite Curve. Various nefarious rumors float around what he does with his Morty collection, but he's got a good heart deep down and truly just seeks to look after them.

His left side is scarred from an accident that cost him his original Morty.

Some more of my boi Maj. And I finally drew his portal gun, it looks like a mix between an old-school pistol and a chunky wand.

A fully digital display pops up when he activates it. His portals are more of a nature green than toxic green.

Punk has a thing for bugs and Wasp Rick is no exception to the rule.

Maj isn't as into bugs as Punk and this particular Rick is forever a sore spot now.

Majick. Alchemist Rick.  Rick.

Age: 33

Dimension: A-S1-14

Sexuality: Pansexual.

Background:

Started with science, as most Ricks do, but early on started to dabble in magic as well. He thinks of it as simply “Science, done differently.” or “Science to the Next Level”. Uses both as he sees fit. Gets annoyed when someone calls him a Mage/Wizard/Witch etc.

He isn’t one. He’s an Alchemist.

Started as a classical “hero”, had a lot of adventures full of fighting and treasure and etc. But things went sour and he lost nearly everything- and everyone- he once cared about.

He’s bounced back from that and now owns a successful business, Rick’s Majick ‘N Stuff, where he sells things to those both in and out of the know. Has a new life and living one day at a time.

Has never had a wife/Diane. No kids/grand kids.

Is extremely Anti-Citadel.

Appearance:

Majick’s hair is a perpetual shaggy mess. He washes it and combs it, but only so there are no knots. He can’t muster the energy to actually care how it seems. Not to mention, in his line of work, hair is one of the first things to get fucked up. So he just considers himself ahead of the game.

Weapons/ Abilities:

His portal gun looks a mix between old pistol and chunky metal wand, his portals are a more nature green color.

Highly knowledgeable about potions, poisons, and magical rituals

Majick can’t actually do magic on his own. He has no natural talent for it. To perform feats outside of potions/rituals he has his back full of “energy converter” markings that allow him to turn his strength into magical forces. This is why he considers himself an “Alchemist” and not something else. He’s “cheating”, as it were.

He burns through his on hand energy rather quickly so these also act as extra reservoirs that “fill up” when he’s relaxing and so forth so he can do more. Still, the bigger the spell, the bigger the energy price tag. And the longer it’d take him to recover if he gets completely tapped out.

Being an alchemist, he has deft control over matter and can easily transform most substances or materials into another. With or without tools. Gold to wood. Wood to crystal. Crystal to blood and etc.

His knowledge of chemistry and transmutation work hand in hand. Related to this, he knows how to dissolve things/people to their basic components and has mild control over the elements. With a high preference for fire, water, and air specifically. He can set someone or random things on fire/soak them, etc but not a whole area without using up a lot of juice.

Impervious to possession and mind control (he’s already set the protections on himself to make that extremely hard to accomplish)
