Alert: Missing Persons Unit literally said, let's give Danny Williams his own show in Philadelphia. I caaaaan't. They literally took Scott Caan, gave him a new shield, combined Danny and Steve's personalities, and threw him into another gay as hell partnership with another hot af boss/partner. He even called his partner babe, like whaaat? It's like seeing what happened to Danny if the mellow au version of him from Steve's dream ended up in PA with the ex-wife and daughter instead of Hawaii and called himself Jason 💀💀

So, yeah, if you miss McDanno I suggest trying Alert: Missing Person's Unit. It's basically the same thing💀 but Scott is playing a mix of both Danny AND McGarrett.

I seriously think they're trying to out-McDanno Hawaii Five-O. Cause wdym they're coparenting their daughter in between bickering through their case?💀

The moment they find her ;_; Not the best show ever but it is not the worst I've ever seen yet and I hope they continue it (though with the low viewership...). Love this scene, sad as it is <3 the denial; how they cling to each other.

Hahaha it’s so funny that I didn’t recognize Richard Harmon in The 100 literally a few days after I watched him as a serial killer in an episode of Alert MPU that just aired.

We're a bit behind over here in Europe, so I only just saw the episode where Nikki dies.

First thing I wanna mention is that I noticed how very clearly they avoided showing her face and thought it was weird.

And when I Googled it and saw 'we wanted to be bold and shocking', it all read as a big fat pretentious lie.

Also, stop killing off women characters to advance the plots of men, please

I have to be real my initial thought when I watched the first episode was “this is slop procedural television but for some reason I cannot look away” WBDKWNFKWBFJSH I’ve once described it as a car wreck on the freeway but I’m rubbernecking 💀

The drama was just too juicy and ridiculous because what do you mean the captain of the mpu has both her fiancé AND her ex-husband on the team. I was locked in, unfortunately.

Another early thought I had was that the Keith plot line reminded me a lot of that one show from 2016 The Family!! I have vague memories of watching that show but for the life of me I cannot remember if I even liked it or not lmfao

But I have to say that the characters really did endear themselves to me!!! I was a staunch supporter of the idea of a Nikki/Jason/Mike throuple and I made it my best friend’s problem by texting her about it in the middle of the night 😭💀💀💀💀💀.

There’s so much potential to further fun dynamics!! I’m especially fond of Helen and Kemi and hope that they get to do more investigating together like in the alien episode. I’d love for C to be back more too. And I’m looking forward to see how the Family Dynamic develops after Sidney’s News from the latest episode, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if uh… That Thing hadn’t happened in 3.02. That felt super abrupt and strange and the use of a body double for that entire episode felt off to me.

But over the course of the episodes I went from thinking “oh so this is SLOP slop” to “this show kinda cooks when it puts its mind to it”. I really liked the latest episode!!! A good example of the show wanting to cook and allowing itself to do so. I WILL be seated for new episodes from now on and hope that it will get renewed for s4. I feel like I said a lot of negative things about the show but I doooooo enjoy watching it!!!

I really did start this show for Scott I can’t lie 😭💀 like he’s so pookie and I think his hair is cute in the show. Idk what the general consensus is on this but I HATEDDDD his hair in the last two seasons of H50 like it was so ugly. To me. And I like seeing him be a funky little dude mounting horses to chase ppl and jumping over counters

I kind of just word vomited here none of this followed a coherent line of thinking but. These are my Opinions 💀. I’d love to hear yours!!!!
