No matter how dull and seemingly unpromising life is right now, it’s going to change. It’s going to be better. But you have to keep working.

Books won't save you.
My father told me once. “Books wont make you rich, wont make you thin and definitely wont save you.”
I was talikng about how you can build a company out of nowhere with banks money, because debt used in the right way will make you wealthy, and so, my mother and my father were listening as I talked with passion like I just have founded the “Holy Grail” of having money and all I ever wanted.
After I even finished my idea, he said that, I just stopped talking, I...listen.
Deep inside I didnt accept that phrase. that didnt match my beliefs.
Later what my father had said create the “Domino effect” that I used to called it. I relapse in depression again, why my father said that? does he have experience in the subject?
Maybe he was right, I accepted the advice my dad gave me, anyway I really know nothing.
So that Domino effect begin growing, I begin to get angry at life like I once were, started to sleep more, didn't do the things I have had to do, didn't wake up in the hour I used to wake up, and when I did I was angry already. I wasn't thankful for the opportunities I have and lost track of my goals.
And so, there was I with this terrible advice, leading nowhere, and I decided to take a step back and reflect.
Why do we take action on the wrong advices people give us?
I started to make a list of those things I know and I want in life, and decided to search the answer, guess what things showed up?
Books.
I just finished a book called “The third door” by Alex Banayan and it was eye opening, all the things I was started to believe in were lay down in the course of the book, one chapter resonates so much with me that I started crying. Sugar Ray was being interviewed by Alex and he tell him that you have to search your truth, and then DON'T LET ANYONE TOOK THAT AWAY FROM YOU.
That hit me, I burst into tears and realize that I always keep other people opinion of what I do, what I want to do and such than my own truth and throw away how I went through hell to find it.
So, what I want you to keep from this reading is, go and search for YOUR answers, experiment, ASK because if you don't ask, the answer always will be No, fail, fail a lot, fail quick, and most important, learn what you dont want, if you know what you dont, youll be way ahead of most people. Learn from those mistakes you took deliberately so you have criteria.
The thing is simple, you JUST NEED ONE WIN. That's all, if you prepared to do 100 times and fail the most of it, you just need one, remember one fail equals more closer to the win.
And also, I don't want to you to think that I know it all, I'm not here telling you this like I have now all figure it out, I'm actually dont, and I think I don't want to, I know is hard but that does not make it less exciting, it just more enjoyable if you said “ I make it happen.”
Stay hungry and naive, but remember the failures you went so I won't make those again.
-Debby.
Good morning, everyone. Happy Friday! I wanted to share the book I'm currently reading. (I didn't want to put it down last night.) It is The Third Door: The Wild Quest to Uncover How the World's Most Successful People Launched Their Careers by Alex Banayan.
A little background: Alex was a pre-med student who found himself uninspired by what he had worked his entire life to achieve, so he changed paths and with a group of friends and a goal, set out to interview some of the most influential people in the world including: Larry King, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Steven Spielberg to see how they were able to get their foot in the door in their industries.
There are plenty of books that tell you about the successes influential people have had, but what about how they overcame the initial failure, rejection and disappointment that all of us experience? I'm excited to continue reading this and be able to share the wisdom I gain from the pages.
If you purchase the Kindle version, (like I did) there's a 25% credit towards other Kindle books. I read a lot, so this was a no-brainer for me.

The Plight of the Millenials
It seems that every day, our Facebook feeds are overwhelmed with articles about the life of a 20-something. Sure, some of them are funny or enlightening but most are, let’s be honest, a little bit offensive. The world seems to have this warped opinion of our generation – apparently, we’re lazy, spoiled, party kids whose only goal in life is to drink, smoke, dance and whine. It’s pretty annoying…
