#it's funny because even if one day Iraq is safe enough to go to there will be nothing for me #the history and the people and the culture and the churches #all destroyed #gone #history is being destroyed #people beheaded #and no one cares because we're Christian and no one views us #as a minority #so anyone not talking about Isis and what's happening there #educate yourself #my people are worth that #my home is worth that #updates

I am now accepting donations to replace the ~toys that I lost in the flood last night. (Can't even talk about the sketchbooks and art supplies and as-yet-unknowable other things I lost. I am, however, very lucky in that I've only lost a few important books so far. And this is giving me a reason to deep-clean my room and give it a good mopping and everything.)
