New Crack pairing idea for my sweet bean Furina!MC.

Furina!MC... with Surtalogi 'The Foul'.

Yes, possibly the worse man to ever have paired her up with but hear me out!

Ok, so this idea all started when I finally got around with finally finishing Fontaine's Archon quest and having to fight the All-Devouring Narwhal.

I looked at this eldritch monster and thought, "...It would be cool if Furina!MC tamed the All-Devouring Narwhal-", and poof, the idea started to form...

For more context, for however long the All-Devouring Narwhal had been hanging around in the Primordial Sea before canon events, somehow, someway, Furina!MC unintentionally formed a connection to it through her dreams.

She would swim with it, basically playing with the massive, eldritch monstrously in the colorful waters of the Primordial Sea... none the wiser she was NOT dreaming.

But then the dreams became a real-life nightmare when the All-Devouring Narwhal kidnapps Furina!MC during her Trial, swallowing her up, and escaping through an abyss portal, leaving Teyvat entirely... and takes her back to its 'master', Surtalogi.

This... is where things start to just go downhill for Furina!MC...

I say that because I can see Surtalogi being extremely possessive. Like toxic levels of possessive, maybe even WORSE. He lives for the strong and considering Furina!MC tamed his 'pet', she would what he considers as 'strong'. A worthy wife of his standards... 😰

Adding to the toxicness, Surtalogi is an absolute freak in the sheets.

Like whether Furina!MC puts him in a bubble to try and drown him, slaps him, hits him in every man's weak spot, bites him, scratches him-

'The Foul' is just all fucking heart eyes for her, because you can't tell me this guy wouldn't be a masochist. This asshole would probably love a woman who can hurt him, ugh.

But either way, this whole situation would be a 'bad ending' scenario for Furina!MC. Because no one was going to come save her. No one could. Even if the Traveler managed to get Skirk's or anyone's help, Furina!MC was trapped... forever...

Childe will become the very first Human from Teyvat to leave the planet

Emphasis on the term “Human from Teyvat”. This means a Human BORN in one of the Seven Nations of Teyvat that are watched by the Heavenly Principles. Not some Trespasser or Descender.

So we all know that July 20th is Childe’s birthday.

You know what also happened on July 20th? The very 1st human landed on the moon on July 20, 1969.

Now let’s parallel this historical event to Genshin. Since July 20th marks the day when the first Human from planet Earth landed on the moon, then in Genshin terms, this can be the same as the first Human from planet Teyvat landing on a moon (or shattered moon), and leaving the planet for that matter.

Who will be that Human? Obviously Childe because his birthday is on July 20th.

I think have more evidence that points to this too. According to HSR, Childe’s narwhal constellation represents one of the many whales that exist in outer space. They just wander and float around there. It makes me think that Childe’s fate is to become a “wanderer” in outer space, just like the whales. (I never played HSR, I just heard a lot about it so correct me if I am wrong.)

Skirk also has some whale motifs (like how a whale tail shows when you hold her Elemental Skill) and she was floating around in space before she landed in Teyvat. Like a wandering space whale...

Like Master like Disciple...

Some other foreshadowing I have seen is that In Skirk’s scenes with Childe so far, she was seen yeeting Childe into dimensional holes.

We kept seeing the real red sky being viewed from a hole in the fake sky. What if one day, Childe gets yeeted to a hole in the fake sky? What if we’ll see a scene similar to this below where instead of Skirk, it’s Childe going UP to the rift?

It's like... Childe is going to follow in his Master's footsteps soon.

Also let's not forget that Childe's Foul Legacy makes him appear somewhat similar to Surtalogi himself, the Sinner who is currently traveling around outer space as well.

These are just lingering thoughts I still have left, before I stopped playing Genshin. Felt like putting that out there cuz I like theorizing about Childe in the past ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know that realistically, the Narwhal might not have an actual name, but screw it, I am headcanoning that Vedrfolnir told Surtalogi what his pet would do in the future, and Surtalogi just cackled and named the Narwhal ✨ Fontbane ✨
