I keep seeing people defend Neveah being sidelined because the story is originally a book with 3 main characters and it’s supposedly fine and normal to focus so much on the other characters and - Ugh.

The problem is not having multiple main characters on a show. The problem is Netflix deliberately marketing Neveah Stroyer as the lead of a ballet thriller only to put her in the background as soon as they flush episode 1. There are ways to market an ensemble show and this is not the route they’ve taken with Tiny Pretty Things.

Now look at how other shows are promoted with posters designed to clearly give every other main player the spotlight. See a pattern ?

The fact that you’d see a “right wing militia” gang as automatically far right racists if they were all white is, uh, kind of telling on yourself.

Also, this reminds me of the odd Worm fanfic that describes Empire 88 as the “racist gang”. They are a racist gang, but so are the Azn Bad Boys.
