what a game
After an amazing rally, coming back from an 8 run deficit, which had only happened 14 times before in Yankees history, Devin Williams literally throws away the game... again... Why do they keep letting him do that to my boys? I'm focusing on Giancarlo Stanton's first home run of the year since coming back from the IL and Aaron Judge's amazing performance, once again!! I love those guys!! My boys deserve pitchers who are as good defensively as they are offensively. And a good manager, but I digress as is my nature.... it was a great game!! I wish that we won, but... alas and alack.... whaddaya gonna do? I love this game!! LET'S GO, YANKEES!!!!!
The improbable Tigers
Just over a month ago, the Detroit Tigers were given less than half a chance to make the post-season playoffs.
I mean that literally; I saw one mid-August prediction that put their odds of making it to October at .02 percent.
Since then, the Tigers have played the best baseball in the Major League. Now, with just five games left in the season - the final three at home against the hapless Chicago White Sox - they're practically a shoo-in, sitting on an 87.6 chance of seeing post-season action.
As for the Tigers' chances of advancing in the play-offs .... ? Well, hope springs eternal, even in September.

Suni Lee, who started practicing for the Olympics in January, after battling 2 incurable forms of kidney disease, got back up out of bed and did this phenomenal routine!!! Her indomitable spirit makes her so inspirational. She's already won, in my opinion, by being able to compete against all odds. She's an amazing woman!!! Her routine earned her a 14.866, which brought her up in the rankings. I'm rooting for you, Suni!! With all my heart ❤️ Go, Suni!! Go, USA!!! I love the way Simone was clapping for Suni!! They are great people!!
