Seven sons of Feanor and the process of drawing them

First I drew them all with the same body and same pose, then started changing it in a way it fit more or less their personalities; they all kidna go in pairs except Caranthir. My beloved goth is always a lone wolf.

look at all the many ways I changed Maglor! he decided to be problematic.

I made the initial lineart first, then added the hair colors cause that was important to me.

Drawing the clothes was fun, my favourite was Celegorm's shoulder armor

Elrond : it is actually very easy to distinguish between me and my twin brother . My hair is slightly lighter and I keep it longer and Elros is dead .

an attempt at drawing almost every named character in the silmarillion (minus a bunch of Men characters bc i didnt have designs for them, as well as assorted minor elves like salgant or elenmire + the valar and most maiar cuz im still redesigning them) 😙

been really busy these past months but i worked on this on and off in-between (you can see a process gif here!!). since ive got a bit of free time for now, ill try to get back to being more active :D sorry for disappearing out of the blue again but happy almost half a year... wait wdym we're almost halfway through 2025 already...?!?! ToT
