Alternative 2: What if Bella from Twilight were black and fell in love with Embry Call? (DUN DUN DUNNNNN)
The basic plotline would be almost like Twilight, except in New Moon, Bella became fond of Embry after Jacob started avoiding her after being turned into a werewolf. She and Embry bonded over losing Jacob to the Sam, and unlike Jacob, Embry filled the hole Edward had left completely. She was finally feeling like herself again. And Embry adored her; they would spend every waking day together, and when Embry gained his abilities and understood why Jacob was acting strange, and found out about Edward and Cullen being vampires, it was him who went to see Bella, not jacob and but unlike jacob Embry could never be angry at bella but he knew with the power sam now had over him he could no longer see bella but he couldnt stand the thought of her lying awake not knowing why.
