Found an old army surplus wooden ammo box and placed it in the back of car to keep my stuff back there organized. I can hear the lock mechanism rattling and clanking around back there sometimes if the road is really rough

upcycled ammunition boxes
Good evening, Hellsing 🛡️
You never know whats really going on anyplace, even if you think you do. All that can be done is minimal preparation & hope for the best. If necessary, have an escape plan. 🩸
okay this post is kind of a rip-off of another guy who posted gifs of the ammo boxes but like. I wanted to post the ammo boxes I think they're neat.
Picked up a new “ammo can” to add to the collection. I haven’t been able to find info on this one and looking for a little help if anyone knows anything please. Don’t know if the RI AFB is Air Force Base? Says 150 cartridges w/fuzes, 20mm, weight, etc.
This is the ammo box that I painted for the Geocaching tour my mom and sister did last spring for my city’s 200th birthday celebration.
I’m quite happy with the Lilacs, not quite as much with the fox, but considering I’ve only painted a handful of times I am very proud of how it came out.
Still wish I had a good scan so I could mess with it digitally and then do prints, but eh. Guess we’ll see if it survives the winter unscathed.
