A new Female Noah au because I have no life!
I'm gonna call this one meet the in-laws because it primarily focuses on the Burromuerto and Devi parents.
Warning, Chris is not a nice guy in this, like at all. He's a lot more like his cannon counterpart- an utter asshole on a good day.
Alejandro's mother is called Esmeralda - she's a famous actress and sometimes works as a model. She met her husband Antonio at a gala before he became a diplomat and it was love at first sight. They moved to Canada for work ten years prior to World tour.
Right after Alejandro leaves for Total Drama, Antonio gets a call about the headquarters for his job moving to another city a couple of hours away to better suit the majority of other employees.
Due to this, the Burromuerto's decide to move to a town that is next to the city but unfortunately, the house (mansion) they bought wouldn't be ready to inhabit for a couple of months so it's a waiting game.
Esmeralda hunts down and creates dossiers on those on World tour who seem to be suitable friends for her son (three, three of those.... imbeciles so far seem appropriate), she does family visits because she needs to be assured that only those who are acceptable are associated with the Burromuerto name. She is incredibly disappointed by what she finds.
She finds Courtney's parents annoying and overbearing. They also won't stop talking about how disappointed in their daughter they are and how they're going to have to give her a lecture when she gets back for her idiotic behaviour and being unladylike. Told off for expressing emotions and being competitive? Yeah, no.
Heather's parents have apparently given her electroshock therapy for her behaviour which is disgusting and they're not happy with her exclusive attraction towards the fairer sex. The girl is clearly going to go far in life and they want to get rid of what makes her her? Unacceptable.
She just forcibly adopts the two girls (who are currently on world tour and have no clue what's going on), she has the money and influence for it after all. And both of them would flourish under the Burromuerto name (as much as she loves her sons, she had always wanted daughters).
She comes home and tells her husband that they have two new daughters, he just arches his eyebrow.
....and Noah. She cannot find ANYTHING substantial on the boy and it's really rubbing her the wrong way.
They decide to stay in a hotel for a weekend so that they can explore their new town.
It'll be a bit hard after their weekend as Antonio would need to start work soon and the distance was ridiculous, he would have to stay in a hotel until the renovations were finished and Esmeralda didn't want to be apart from her darling husband for that long.
It didn't help that she was currently still on the hunt for new staff (a manager or couple of assistants) so they wouldn't be able to talk on the phone for long with how busy she'll be.
She bumps into a smaller woman while scouting out the new town and spilled her coffee (thankfully not getting any on herself or the other woman). Just as she's about to verbally ... reprimand... her for not watching where she's going, the woman immediately starts fretting and apologising a lot. She then offers to buy her coffee to make up for the one that's been spilled and Esmeralda agrees.
She learns that the woman's name is Amrita Devi, and that she is incredibly friendly. She also offers her a tour around the area once she finds out that Esmeralda and her family are moving to the town.
As it turns out, they're going to be neighbours! Amrita and her family live on the estate (a generational property, apparently) next to the one they just bought.
She then gets invited to bring her family to have dinner at the Devi household the following evening, to get to know her new neighbours.
The next evening, she somehow manages to wrangle José and Carlos to join them (and they will behave for once) so the four of them arrive at the Devi residence. They're greeted with a lot of people, like a lot.
16 people (Amrita +8 sons, her sister and her sister's husband +4 kids and her mother Nana Devi).
Amrita introduces her sons (and her sister's family) and in return Esmeralda introduces her family.
She mentions how unfortunately her youngest couldn't be with them as he is currently on a reality TV show.
It's one of Neha's brothers who put the pieces together (rich Latino family with a diplomatic father and a son on a TV show.... Suspiciously familiar) and asks what their surname is. Antonio replies very proudly 'Burromuerto' and everything seems to go quiet.
Another one of the brothers just looks flabbergasted "wait-- Burromuerto, as in Alejandro Burromuerto???" "Sí...?" "As in Alejandro Burromuerto who is currently on team Chris is really really really really hot on total drama???????" "... Where are you going with this?"
Amrita just claps and laughs out in delight "oh my, it's like fate! My youngest are a part of Total drama as well!"
"ah, de verdad? Which ones are yours" "Izzy and Eva are my adopted daughters, I only got custody of them this winter! And Neha is biologically my youngest! I'm pretty sure that two of them are on the same team as your son!"
"Sí! Izzy is on the same team, but I do not recognise Neha or Eva"
"ah, Eva isn't competing this season, she was on the first one though and well, can you keep a secret?" Esmeralda trades a glance with her husband. "Sí, sí, we won't tell anybody" "well, Neha is currently going by Noah when she's on the show. Quite devious isn't it! And between you and me, I think she might have eyes for your son. The lack of serious insults are incredibly telling."
"Qué?!" ×2 "Wait, are you saying that Noah is a girl, why would she do that then?" "Ha! Someone actually likes Al?"
They hear snickering and turn to the Devi men who had been somewhat quiet for most of the meal, one of them is picking at his nails and snorts out, "yeah, see she lost a bet with us and had to audition for the show dressed as a male, then she got accepted and told she had to continue so that the gender numbers were equal" "yeah! She hates it, apparently the wig is super itchy, I wouldn't know, I am not letting that ugly thing anywhere near my hair"
the only other woman their age chimes in "oh please, ugly doesn't even begin to describe it nephew"
The Burromuertos get a phone shoved in their faces by an incredibly proud mama and on it is a picture of three smiling girls.
The ginger has a massive smile on her face, wearing a tank top and a skirt and has her arms wrapped around the other two.
The noirette has a small smile on her face, her hair is down and she's wearing denim shorts and a tank top.
Finally, the brunette is smirking, her hair in a messy braid falling down to her waist and wearing a summer dress.
Esmeralda notes that the eyes, nose, facial structure (though it definitely looks less soft on television, the power of make-up she supposes), and cheek bones are the exact same, although perhaps the forehead is slightly smaller and her hair is definitely longer, but that's definitely the apparent girl that is currently on her sons team. Well, she is unconventionally attractive at least.
Esmeralda is incredibly impressed and intrigued because that sneaky little Zorra has been sniffing around her youngest son and she didn't even notice. No wonder she couldn't track the kid down. Interesting.
