I feel bad for all of my new followers who come here thinking I'm a normal Batman fan with normal opinions. I'm not. I represent the obscure minority who is into Batman because of the intersection with the gothic/horror/thriller genres. My perspective is incredibly skewed towards the macabre, and not in the Addams Family way.

'This comic is too grimdark!' Oh no! Give me the name. 'Why can't the Batfamily just love each other!' They do love each other! Their love language is just ripping each other's hair out. 'Batman should go to therapy!' Batman should go to therapy, but just to be tortured and traumatized by psychiatrists. For taste. 'Nightwing is the happy one and Jason is the angsty one and Cass is the sweet one—' Boring. I'm hitting them all with the flaws beam and cheering for Cass in the stands when she beats the shit out of Jason. 'The Batfamily should meet the Justice League!' They have. The Batfamily should meet Justice League Dark.
