Here’s a fun #tbt, #Photobucket emailed me to let me know that my account was going to be deleted if I didn’t sign in after well over a decade of not using their service. I logged in to see what was in my account and I found a folder full of early photos of my ex Tony who passed away 3 years ago now. I hadn’t seen these photos in years so I want to share them now. Tony and I met on the #AngryPsychos mailing list for the singer @officialPOE and the SayHey! message board for @KylieMinogue. Before we knew one another, we realized later that we were in the same group photo of a bunch of Poe fans at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH (the first big group photo in this series). When we started dating long distance, we would MAIL actual PHOTOS to one another so the rest of these photos are scans of those photos (you can see he’s wearing a #MadeInDetroit shirt that I sent to him in a couple of the pics, he lived in St. Louis, MO at the time). I’m also sharing a couple photos of us on one of our early dates including a bunch of #Photobooth pics we took together in Chicago, IL. I’m really thankful that Photobucket emailed me because I had forgotten about a lot of these pics, which I’ve now downloaded and saved (even tho they are really low res and not great quality). I also think maybe Tony is reminding me about that fun time in our lives and I would like to share those memories with all, y’all, today.
