Aight so I just saw someone in a TikTok comment call Aryan Mexican, seemingly in a mocking tone

While it's obviously unnaceptable the way people have been treating Leah as Annabeth, we also need to address the way some people have been treating Aryan. It's not okay in any way, shape or form to make fun of or harrass either of these two simply for their race. While their are things I don't agree with Rick upon, the casting of the actors in the PJO show is something I am totally on board with and I'm sick and tired of people talking shit about the actors, especially the POC ones, on their capability and their appearances.

Okay but imagine an Au where Annabeth and Reyna were switched instead of Jason and Percy in the Heroes of Olympus (I know Reyna isn’t a part of the 7, but she’s more parallel to Annabeth than Piper ie both leaders, both sans obvious magical ability, both criminally underestimated and then fought their way to the top).

Jason and Percy are switched as well here as in Jason is originally Greek and Percy is originally Roman so as to avoid the whole ‘Percy floods the world searching for Annabeth‘ situation.

Imagine Annabeth, who gets proclaimed a weirdo daughter of Minerva who should just stick to the arts, be badass as fuck in war games and be an unpredictable crazy battle strategist and brilliant fighter. The potential POV would be SO cool to read and I’m desperate for a fic like that

and like the enemies to friends to lovers with Praetor Percy would be so great

plus I wanna see Annabeth without her backstory in new Rome. An Annabeth who never knew Percy and who barely remembers Luke or Thalia or Grover
