You made me happier than I'd been by far
I finished Well of ascension and I LOVED IT. The Seige. The political tension. The tension between the characters. ALL THAT MADE THIS BOOK MY FAVOURITE. I loved everything about this book.
Spoiler.
So I missed Kelsier but I saw that coming. Whenever someone would mention him I was like "Stop I'm trying not to miss him and enjoy the book" But I loved that I wasn't the only one missing him.
So, I never thought reading about a city in seige would be interesting. Honestly that sounds kinda boring, but the way it was written I could feel the tension in my body as if I was in luthedal.
I loved how Sazed in this one. He was so good trying to collect information and be useful. And I loved Tindwyl. Didn't like what happened to her 😭😭😭 She made Elend so much confident and her back story was so sad. She really deserved better. And Sazed deserved her 😭😭
I love the crew but I don't really feel much connected to them. But when Breeze hid from the fight, that was so...jwowndbkskdbndhsj. I didn't feet much bad about Clubs or Dockson.
And I still like Spook. He so nice, trying to be useful but is scared. Hope he gets happy ending.
Vin, my girl. She was so confused in this one. I loved Zane and how he was trying to use Vin for himself. The tension he creating between Vin and Elend. I LOVED THAT SO MUCH.
And Sazed giving both Vin and Elend relationship advice hit hard. GOD SAZED DESERVES TO BE HAPPY.
I hated Elend in book one and I hated him and vin together. He was annoying. But in this book, GOD I LOVED THEM SO MUCH. As @edgedanceremrys-ofscadrial had predicted .
Their relationship, it's so good. I loved how they give each other space and trust each other. I took them time to finally accept that they are good for each together and GOT MARRIED. I loved that.
And I LOVED ELEND SO MUCH. HE WAS SO GOOD IN THIS. I LOVE SEEING HIM TRYING TO BE GOOD KING BUT THOSE PEOPLE DETHRONED HIM. Like how dare they? Anyways, I was told that I would love him and I did. And how could I not? He's just an amazing character. I don't know ow how much I like him being a mistborn in the end. It was good seeing him do his best without powers but I guess him being a mistborn would be important for next book.
Also, That ending. The prophesies. The legends. They all were false. LIKE WHAT THE HELL DID VIN FREED AT THE END? Deepness? So it isn't the mist? Or is it? I CAN'T WAIT TO KNOW. Brandon Sanderson doesn't disappoint.
Also at the end I thought Elend died and Vin bitch wasn't saving him. I was so scared. But I'm just glad he didn't. I came a long way from wanting Elend to die then almost crying when he was about to die. GOD LOVE HIM SO MUCH. I WANT MY OWN ELEND NOW 😭😭
This book was a mess and I loved everything about it. I wish I could talk about everything but that would take long. (It's already long lol)
I just missed Kelsier.
There is always another secret.
Can't wait to know what secret book three has.
