I made this tierlist earlier. It was so big that it made my phone crash repeatedly, but it's now made. My definitive rankings for the DCU Characters (based on the comics i've read, combined with knowledge from watching tv shows and movies and from reading wiki pages). I still feel some indecision about some of my rankings, but i'm like 90% confident in all of my rankings. Now there's another DC tierlist I know of, so maybe i'll get to that one later. Either way, feel free to ask me questions about my rankings. My ask box is barely used (and I barely use the ask boxes of others), but still. Feel free to ask me any questions about my rankings. And I'll try my hardest to explain things. Oh, and before I forget: 'Mazing Man and Eddie Bloomberg (Kid Devil) would definitely have been S tier of they were here.
Oh, and i'm now remaking this post, just to get one big question out of the way: Why is Batman in E Tier? Decent question. But it's simple enough to me. It's because modern Batman really sucks, but Batman can be great. Adam West? Diedrich Bader? Those two are geniuses. Batman was amazing pre crisis. Modern Batman is a boring dark spot in the DCU. So he can't be in F, because he's got good traits. But he can't be in anything above D, as D and higher are characters I usually tolerate or like or love. So...yeah. There's the logic I used to put Batman in E tier.
People also seem baffled by Constantine. But let me say this: I hate R rated horror stuff. I hate that about Constantine's comics. The persona I see of a sexually active, incredibly cynical british guy also does nothing for me. He just gives off boring and/or creepy vibes to me, and I don't like him. I know that's apparently controversial (since everyone seems to love him), but I don't. The worst mage, just some stupid british cynic. It gives the fine world of sorcery a bad name. No theatrics, no wonder, no charm. For shame, sir. For shame.
