Harry and Luna would never work. They are too different, and have completely different personalities. They would be good friends and I think Harry would be protective over her like a sister. She needs someone who’s in love with magical creatures just as much as she is, which is why Rolf makes so much sense.

I guess this is apparently an unpopular opinion in the fandom (or at least Tumblr) but I don't see L*narry at all.. he finds her weird most of the time and not in a good way.. also, they really weren't that close in the books, maybe from her side but honestly on the trio's side it felt like she was more of an aquientences and I found it way over the top that she drew them on her room. Points to Harry for finding that endearing I suppose.
I did see it in the movies cause they made a point of showing how they understand each other but the meaningful talks (Thestrals for example) weren't in the books. I also hate Manic Pixie Dream Girl trope and L*narry is full of that.. blech.
And no I'm not saying this because I ship Harry with someome else.. frankly I don't think he had a good romantic pairing in the series.
Draco/Luna and Harry/Luna?
Draco/Luna - E: I don’t really like it
Like most Draco ships, you’d have to really sell it to me, and I’ve never seen anything that sells it well without discarding the Malfoy family dynamic. (It’s usually based on “Draco protected her/was good to her when she was imprisoned at the Manor” and... I kinda don’t see that as a basis of a relationship? “Oh, when your friends and family had me imprisoned you were less than a complete a**hole, it must be true love!” No.)
And on the other hand I’m not really there for Luna/dudes ships because I feel very strongly that Luna gay, gay, gay. I don’t really think either one of them is the other one’s type.
But it doesn’t conjure any sort of visceral fury or anything, maybe just because I don’t tend to see it pushed particularly hard or as a desperate “THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANON!!!!11!” sort of ship.
Harry/Luna - C: Not a bad ship
I really wanted to ship this one, but I just couldn’t get into it. Though I do see them having a girlfriend in common and cuddling a lot, if that helps?
The recent spate of really overbearing Lunarry shippers trolling Hinny blogs have kind of downgraded this from a B, honestly. Just, I started to see a lot of Manic Pixie Dream Luna Fixing Harry content and that’s just, absolutely not my bag.
