take a moment to read indian election news!! india has voted against the ruling fascist party. while they will resume government they will need to forge alliances and have lost multiple strong members of parliament. and all this despite them controlling the media and jailing their opposers! this is SUCH an important reminder that u shld never ever underestimate the power of a vote
“First they came for the Muslims
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Muslim
Then they came for the Dalits
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Dalit
Then they came for the trans people
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trans person
Then they came for the students
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a student
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me”
my paraphrased version of one of my favourite poems, the ever-relevant masterpiece written by Niemöller, “First They Came” (original below):
andhbhakts will get their comeuppance. mark my words.
yes it’s about the NEET suicides murders (your govt has STILL done nothing in terms of accountability for them, btw). but to me, and I hope to everyone who cares about this, it’s ALSO about every single murder and killing and injustice that has been perpetrated by the govt since 2014. it’s about every oppressed minority, not just the most visible or recent one. it IS political. it IS about the failings of this cowardly govt and uneducated prime minister. and REAL patriots will agree with this.
I know this is not a platform where issues from the global south get any attention, but I'm still going to write about it because it's something I can do. For the past month, young people in India have been protesting the country's education system and demanding the resignation of the education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, following the leak of the country's medical school entrance exams after which 21 students committed suicide.
Today, 20 July 2026, police in Delhi and Mumbai beat protesters with batons, tear gassed them, shot them with rubber bullets and illegally detained them. Protesters included students, children, young people including young women whose clothes were torn, and people of all ages.
The Modi government has done this MANY times before. In Kashmir, in Manipur, multiple times in Delhi itself. They are banking on people getting scared and the protest losing steam. I beg you to not let that happen. I'm not a huge account, I don't have thousands of followers. The only thing I can do is speak with the voice I have.
Delhi isn't even the only place they have treated protestors this way TODAY. Police beat up adivasi protesters in Madhya Pradesh who have been trying to protect their land. This protest has gotten significantly less attention but it stems from the same vile nationalist government.
Your reblog or your like may not do anything but it's essential that we keep talking about the Modi government's continued violence against civilians. The government uses its pet media machinery and the armed forces as mercenaries for its agendas and to silence people, all while they use our money to enrich themselves and then beat us into submission. Please don't let this happen.
It doesn't matter if you agree with someone's reason for a protest, in a democratic country everyone has a right to protest. You can hate CJP and Sonam wangchuk and you can very well believe that whatever they were doing was for their own gain but you can't believe what happened today was anywhere close to what is acceptable in a democratic country. The police can't just barge in and remove Sonam wangchuk from the protesting site. The High Court can't order for the forceful removal of protestors. The police can't not show the order before removing people from the site. It would be a shame if the High Court ordered the protestors to break their protest first before directing any order towards the government. It doesn't matter what your views were on the protest or the people protesting, you can't be okay with what happened today and call this country a democracy and Vishwaguru. This is tyranny.

Ok holy shit its been a while tho no one knows me now since this is a whole completely different account but bleh wtv
Block me if you think that what the BJP government is doing is right, no like seriously just block me.
No this protest was never about religion as I've seen some brain dead ppl say it is, there are people of every religion out there in this protest no matter if they are hindu, muslim, sikh, christian or any other religion, so for god sake stop making everything about yourself, people are literally dying out there because of the police
Some of you bitches dragging Sonam Wangchuk down shows why this country was slaved in the first place. That man is willing to die out there for us yet y'all trying to find loopholes such as "oh he's eating in bathroom" "oh he has chicken soup in his bottle" like stfu, y'all can't even do half of what he has done so kindly shut up!
Stop worshiping celebrities, like lord do I even have to explain this one holy shit. Yes it is this serious, its about the future of this country, future of students of this country, so please grow a spine boycott or at least unfollow those who haven't spoken about this situation.
I am so angry as I write this, people my age, younger than me and older than me are dying, getting beaten up, molested by those police and all I can do is sit here and just watch...
IF I CAN'T REACH THERE THEN MY VOICE WILL, AND IT WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT THOSE WHO DESERVES IT AND THAT IS THE YOUTH OF MY COUNTRY THAT WANT THINGS TO CHANGE FOR BETTER!
