in like the least weird way possible, it’s kinda pissing me off how vivzie goes into great detail when it comes to sex related stuff for her uncomfy mlm situations (stolas and blitz, angel and val, vox and val) BUT WITH THE CONSENSUAL SEX BETWEEN HER ONLY WLW PAIR (apart from the nonsensical bg relationship of martha and mayberry) she turns it into a dance number bc “oooo she’s ace and kinda uncomfortable with sex” and “she doesn’t need to go into graphic detail to portray the sex scene” WHY WOULD CONSENSUAL SEX BE UNCOMFORTABLE TO WATCH IN AN ADULT SHOW DUDE. and if they (being the creative team, not just viv) can make graphic scenes and write graphic lines for the sickening mlm pairs, they can show 10 seconds of the wlw ship engaging in consensual intimacy. but chaggie hardly has any romantic moments in the first place, so ofc sex is something completely untouchable.

Valentino's part in When I think about the future made me really dislike statcmoth... I think it finally clicked for me then how Valentino lowkey loses all the interesting parts of him just to become this 'damsel in distress' that we're supposed to feel bad for(??) when he's around Vox...??? Did they make him like that to make Vox seem worse?????

I've BEEN asking myself what the point was of giving V*lentino that arc. Like, outside of portraying that Al is driving a wedge between the Vees, it seems like a time sink and I agree that it made Val boring as hell. He's a perfectly hateable, intimidating, and disgusting villain in S1, and we really didn't need more than that. It kinda undermines Angel's arc for casual viewers when someone so terrifying from his POV is just a dumb sad baby from Vox's. I understand that's intentional but that doesn't mean I have to like it lol

“Vox isn’t actually that hung up on Alastor, his fans are over exaggerating” ah yes because Vox totally didn’t spent 90% of his screen time in season 1 obsessing over Alastor. Nope, didn’t happen. Trust me bro don’t go and watch the show just read my fanfics and take my headcanons as fact.

When season 2 airs and Vox has Alastor on the brain 24/7 these people (*cough* delusional staticmoth shippers *cough*) are going to be in for a rude awakening.

im so excited for the next season but knowing we're not getting fed the way we were this season breaks my heart. Ik that Vox will probably be moving on and Staticmoth will be the main focus. Ik that Al will be more focused on Lucifer. Ik that the way their arcs are going it's leading to them not caring anymore and that shit just fucking hurts man.

Yeah, one has a character singing a sad song about their "beloved" not returning their feelings and the other has….. a character singing a sad song about their "beloved" not returning their feelings.

Also, in both cases the singing character has been criticized by the fandom for treating the other one badly, so Viv made sure to rewrite them as the hurt ones in love and their partners as being in the wrong, but that's a story for another day.
