in recent conversations with various people (esp s/o to dark and em), i’ve finally figured out that a) i really want to like s/k, but b) i’m uncomfortable with enough aspects of it that i... don’t really.

what really sucks is that all the arguments against it seem to be ‘ewwww it’s PEDO and everyone who ships it nasty’, and that... isn’t my issue with it at all.

1. they both have major issues, and being together... hasn’t changed that. sure, they’ve given each other comfort, but those moments don’t stick. it’s more... they seem to be stuck at an impasse, re: keith’s overwhelming insecurity and shiro’s trauma/perfectionism/control-as-a-coping-mechanism. it was in the two years without shiro that keith finally started learning how to deal with things better, and i don’t think that was necessarily a coincidence.

2. shiro looks like a carbon copy of keith’s dad. this is entirely personal, but daddy kink falls on the ‘legit trigger’ side of ‘how much does this squick you?’ scale.

2a. it was only introduced/confirmed this season, but i did kinda hc that shiro raised keith. while guardian/ward is a legit romance novel Thing™... it’s not my cup of tea.

3. codependency hell. i’ve been in keith’s position (doe eyes, completely unfailing devotion, viciously protective, losing yourself almost entirely when you lose them...) too many times to wish that on anyone. i’ve seen too many metas painting a romantic sheen over keith’s reactions to shiro’s death(...s) for comfort, honestly.

i don’t dislike the ship itself, and most of the content (especially au stuff) is entirely unobjectionable, but as for creating it myself... i’m thinking i should probably give up on that.

SasuKarin could’ve worked out if Sasuke was interested

Sasuke seemed, at first, to worry a little about Karin only once, when he rescued her with his Susanoo, while the Kage building was collapsing. Karin herself looks surprised and pleased, as she believed that Sasuke actually cared about her and wanted to protect her.

But then, you see the whole panel. xD You thought he was worried about her? Nope. Not at all. He threw her to the side, completely carelessly, as soon as he ensured her life was saved.

But then, when it comes to the relationship between Sasuke and Sakura, there's totally another story:

Just look at how gentle he put her head down, after catching her from falling. And he was looking so gently at her! He was so grateful that she protected him from Gaara, risking her own life. 

I DARE YOU TO SAY HE DOESN’T CARE ABOUT SAKURA, UNLIKE KARIN. -.-" I just don't understand those SasuKarin shippers AT ALL. I mean... Can they actually see the contrast, but are hiding  and denying this fact, as they prefer living in denial, or are they absolutely blind to human emotions?

1. The others: “How long will it take us to take this down?”

     Karin: “WHO THE HECK CARES ABOUT THAT?!?? ALL I want right now is to lick Sasuke all over!!!”

  2. Karin: “I will NEVER forgive you!!!”

    Sasuke: “Sorry.”

    Karin: “Do.. you re-really think that… I-I’m going to forgive you…?”

    After two seconds (jumping near him and starting hugging him): “WE’RE DESTINATED TO EACH OTHER! ♡”

  3. Karin’s thoughts: “When I and Sasuke will be alone, I’M GOING TO RAVAGE SASUKE LIKE CRAZY! I’ve NEVER been so excited in my life! I have to take advantage of the fact that’s he’s not conscious and injured!!! ♡”

  4. Sasuke is half-dead, injured, bloody and is lying on the ground.

    The others: “You should rest a bit.”

    Karin (immediately getting turned on): ”OMG! HE IS SO COOL, EVEN IF HE IS BADLY INJURED, but who cares about that?!?! HIS APPEARANCE IS THE ONLY THING THAT TRULY MATTERS! ♡”

  5. Karin’s thoughts: “YESSS! I’m alone with Sasuke, so I can finally seduce him!!!”

    Karin: “SASUKEEEEEEEEE, JUST ME AND YOU, JUST THE TWO OF US…!”      Sasuke: “Get lost.”

    Karin’s (secret) thoughts: “GRRR! But no worries, I’ll get to lick him all over the first time I have the chance!!!”

  6. Karin: “HE IS SOOOOO COOOOOOOL! And this is everything that actually matters!!! ♡ ♡ ♡”

  7. Karin: “WE DON’T HAVE TO TAKE ANYONE ELSE! We just need each other! (We’re destined to each other!) ♡”

    Sasuke: “Back off.”

    Karin’s (secret) thoughts: “NOO! I can’t let anyone get in my way! I’m not giving up until I get this handsome guy!! Not until I get to lick him all over!!!!”

  8. Sasuke: “Why did you lie? Suigetsu’s going the opposite…”

     Karin: “NO, NO, NO, NO, this is THE REAL WAY! Let’s go!”

     Karin’s (secret) thoughts: “OMG! He figured it out! NOOOOO! I only wanted to be alone with him, so I could try one more time to seduce him! ♡"  

  9. Sasuke bites Karin, in order to heal himself.

     Karin’s (secret) thoughts: “OMG! THIS FEELS SOOOOO GOOD! OH!!! I hope he also feels the pleasure!!!!!!! And I’m sure he does!!!!! ♡”

 How can those salty NaruSaku/SasuKarin fans actually say that we're the ones who have read the WHOLE manga wrong, that we should have woken up to reality a long time ago and that we're the ones who're living in denial?!?

 JUST HOW?!?!

 THEIR horrible ships are THE ONES THAT HAVE SUNK (even from the beginning of the series)! NOT OURS, which, in fact, are canon. x'D Kishimoto-Sensei has given us the couples we've always known that would happen in the end! => So, OUR COUPLES are THE CANON ONES! And NOT THEIRS!

 Still, they're pretending to be amazed at how stupid and delusional we, the SasuSaku & NaruHina shippers, are. EVEN THOUGH THEIR SHIPS ARE THE FANON ONES. So, basically, they consider that we're the ones who have always been living in nothing, but a delusion, BECAUSE WE ACTUALLY ACCEPT THE REALITY AND REFUSE TO LIVE IN DENIAL.

 YEAH, NS/SK fans, GREAT LOGIC you got there. ;)

 You amaze me with your *intelectual gift* more and more as days pass by. Anyway, what should I be expecting from those who have made up SO MANY FAKE THEORIES and who've proven SO MANY TIMES to be INCREDIBLY STUBBORN, MEAN AND SMALL-MINDED. And they're STILL continuing creating lots of stupid, meaningless theories, EVEN THOUGH THE PROPER MANGA ENDED FOUR MONTHS AGO. '-'

  I'm asking myself the same question again and again: "WILL THEY EVER STOP AND LEARN HOW TO GROW UP ALREADY?"
