And we're back! I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to do for this prompt (and didn't really want to draw over a meme), so I ended up doing two things. The image is one, but there's also a bunch of incorrect quotes (mostly pulled from this generator) under the cut with these same characters. I'm also gonna list who's who below, so the quotes make a bit more sense.
So the characters are:

Shatter: *Exhausted sigh*

It's that time of year again when I remember I should post.
So. Hi. I feel like I say it every time but I do live.
The good, since I didn't really address it much: I got a new computer! Like, 3 months ago? The old one was just giving out on me so I finally retired it. This one is generally higher end and can actually screen record!
I've vaguely alluded to it in tags, but I want to try streaming at some point. Haven't yet due to a few different things getting in the way.
Such as: I got a new job! It's been. An experience. I'm only a few weeks in but it's fine so far, it just takes a lot of my time and energy and has thus cut into art things.
As for the not great things: I seem to be doomed to pen issues. It fought me the entire time I drew this. A new computer hasn't fixed it, changing batteries hasn't fixed it, a different pen, updating drivers, you get the idea. I can work around it, it just makes digital art a bit annoying (here's hoping it'll get me to traditional art more).
Finally, as I mentioned on my main a while back, this new computer managed to wipe it's own hard drive after 2 months of having it. The computer has been fixed, obviously, but I hadn't backed up any of the new files on it and thus lost a good few, including alternate versions of the last two pieces I posted and a pngtuber I had prepared for streaming purposes. Thankfully, I had shared some images with friends, so while I don't have the layered versions I at least have something.
But uhhh. Yeah, that's your update. Longer than I meant, woops.
As for near future, I'm not doing a daily challenge for October on account of job, but a friend mentioned I could try a weekly one and I'm probably (hopefully) gonna do that.
Gonna take another short OC-tober break, since none of my ideas for inventory are sticking and most of my friends who have characters aren't (actively) on tumblr. I do have one friend week piece planned, but I'll probably wait to post it until the 25th, so that last batch of pieces can go up daily.
Gonna take a break from OC-tober stuff during the palette prompts, since they don't catch my interest as much as some of the other prompts and I don't want to burn myself out trying to force it. I'll be back to it on the 15th for meme day, though!
All I really have to say is that the things I have made over the last while have been unfinished, unpolished, or story spoilers. (Plus I've been having some on-and-off pen issues on the digital front but they seem to have calmed down for now.)
But apparently I haven't posted here since last December, so yeah, gotta get back to this thing.
So, I'm gonna have some stuff queued up for the next while, including some things that aren't full illustrations, like character designs. And maybe some sketches I don't plan on finishing, we'll see.
