Once again I am outsourcing opinions
I have the above cakes, most of it mystery brand, quantity and material but it's in the worsted/aran range, so it's all getting grouped together :) (plus I love the colours) But what do I make?
My brain says blanket, my heart says jumper/cardigan
Out of the following choices, vote for your favourites
Out of the following options what do I make (Pictures below)
Crochet bishop sleeve cardigan
Knit turtleneck block jumper
Crochet squares jumper
Crochet granny squares cardigan
Crochet granny squares blanket
Crochet sleeved poncho
Start to finish of a red ribbed scarf, its a gift for a friend, the scarf is pretty long and has a few mistakes but I'm sure they'll love it!
Need some inspiration please. I have this box of mystery yarns (vaguely aran/worsted weight) that I’m starting to lose steam with what to make.
So please tell me your favourite low yardage patterns! Knitting or crochet is fine, or something completely different if you think it works!!!
The chenille I’m assuming I have about 300m of each colour, the grey and marled blue I’ll stick together, the multicoloured eyelash yarn I’ll use on its own, and the blue, white and purple eyelash I might use together depending on how much I can eke out that tiny ball of purple…
Looking forward to your recommendations!
Merry Christmas! We’re watching The Hogfather and I’ve got some very soft Aran Merino on the go.
The first time I've tried to spin thicker yarn, also the first time doing a normal two-ply instead of a navajo ply. The colours look more dreamy and pretty in real life though...

Hand-dyed Yarn: "Wild Hunt"
The night is deep on the moor; you're thankful for the crackling fire and steaming mug of tea beside you. Pull the blanket up a little higher on your lap--wait!
What's that? Bells? Hoofbeats?
At the far-off blare of a hunting horn, you're certain you can hear the deep blue of the growing night torn by black. The shadowed depths of forest green shudder as the wind picks up. As the floor beneath you ceases its trembling, you smile grimly, sip your tea, and stoke the hearth.
The Wild Hunt rides tonight, me dearies!
Not to worry, though! We've got a brand new, hand-painted Aran weight yarn all set to become a part of your next project. 100% Andean wool, its 92 yards of warmth will take the chill from even the deepest, darkest of nights.
