Honestly if any person in general has twitter I automatically don’t respect them because why are you indulging in and supporting an app made by Elon musk. But the arcane fandom on there is insane. They sit their asses down on an app made by Elon fucking musk, and turn something as small and un important as fandom into a war zone. They accuse entire groups of people of being homophobic, racist, ableist, misogynistic, over something as small as which character they prefer. Meanwhile they on an app of a man who is all of those things, who has ties to the man who is actively deporting people and stripping away their rights? Don’t even get me started on when they pay for the blue check mark or make entire community’s, you are actively giving money to a horrible man and causing people of being things that a man you are paying is actually doing? People take something as small and un important as fandom and turn it into a morality game, pretending activism to say Caitvi fans are all cop loving hitler supporters while the actual world is falling apart at the hands of people who are actually those things!? The arcane fandom has the worst case of proformitive activism I have ever seen.

They even went after MEL'S VOICE ACTOR, as well as Ekko's, accusing them of being racist just for shipping jayvik. I repeat, they are accusing real black people of being racist just because they don't ship meljay, who are canonically broken up. THIS IS INSANITY

Vikposting, btw, accused a tweet made in portuguese of being hate towards mel, when in fact op was just pointing out that, unlike arcane twt, loltwt had moved on from meljay and were shipping mel with other characters. When brazilians clarified that and said that a lot of nuance was lost in translation, vikposting doubled down. When we said that, if you don't speak portuguese, don't try to claim to know better than native speakers on something like this, they doubled down AGAIN, acted like every brazilian was out to get them and even said they would rather learn a useful language like mandarin instead of portuguese. Obviously we pointed out their xenophobia but they still claim to be a victim

I don't care what people say, most arcane rp accounts on twitter are PEAK and you can't convince me otherwise. Even the silly ones. "But they are corny" I DON'T CAREEEEEE let me see my favourite characters make memes about minions or something. While many of them, do have problematic material, or are poorly executed or ooc, we have to admit, some of them are making ART here. Seriously, I've seen such amazing plots happening in so many rps and many of them are hella interesting.
