I'm going to need the next Illium and Aodhan book ASAP. Nalini confirmed that they would be main characters again at some point in her book release event last night, but I need to know what's next. Archangel's Light was perfect imo.

I am very happy that you are back, I always come to your page to cheer me up on my shipper, I think I’m a little depressed by the shock I got this week, I don't know if you like the Guild Hunter series, but the author released the synopsis of the next one and who is the couple, and I have to say that I was very shocked, I never saw any chemistry between them except a beautiful relationship of brothers, like soul mates but not in the romantic sense (I'll have to share the question)

RIGHT NOW ON TO IT OMG REALLY. !?!??!? SO I DIDN'T SEE THIS BEFORE, and to answer what is probably obvious yes I have read the Guild Hunter series & Nalini before :O

SO. I don't know if what I am going to say is going help or hinder you, for me personally while I am shocked because I didn't think Nalini had the balls to do a M/M book since she loves her females I certainly was surprised to read that blurb HOWEVER, from a analytical stand point? I do think there is plenty there that foreshadowed it... And while reading chemistry is completely subjected to ones tastes, writing wise much like Elriel, taking off any bias textually speaking there is evidence for it.

I am literally going to to like a two min search and not even deep dive in to their quotes and show you a few that never gave me platonic vibes, because I think if it were a female and male it would have been so obviously romantic...

I don't know, I feel like the foreshadowing was there when Illium cared more about him that the woman he loved, the way they are described. Yes it could have been a epic friendship but it morphing in to a romantic one only surprises me because I didn't think Nalini would do it after a DECADE.

I think both Elriel and them have so much written development that it was easy for me to gage their relationships coming...

But that's just me! Sorry that you were disappointed by the news :(

I really want to read archangel’s light by Nalini Singh because it looks so good and cute and interesting but ive never read any of the other books in the series and I don’t think I want to read all of them just to read this book. I don’t know if this books are like semi self contained and can be read in any order. Or if I’ll just be completely lost and not be able to enjoy it since I haven’t read any of the others.

soo I have not interacted with this fandom online before, so idk how ms. Singh looks upon fanart but I just finished Archangel's Light and I adore these two so much so i drew baby Adi and Ili causing mischief (they have probably just been caught by Raphael or Sharine)
