You most likely understand this, being a fellow faunus, but for a trait easily obscured (cat ears) , how do you breach the subject of being a faunus with those you're close to?

Sun: Well, I would most likely compare it to something like having a different skin tone. Just to be basic about it.

Sun: Just because we have an extra part, be it ears, a tail, or something else, we are people as well.

Sun: We’re often looked down upon because of these traits, because we are not human, we are Faunus.

Sun: If they need time or space to think about it if they didn’t already know, give it to them. It can be jarring to some people if they’re just suddenly told that you’re a faunus, if they’ve known you for some time.

Sun: And most importantly of all, be yourself.

Jaune jumped when Aria hugged him. He certainly hadn’t been expecting it from a relative stranger, but that didn’t mean he didn’t like it. It felt nice.

The blonde smiled, and wrapped his arms around Aria. She didn’t seem like the sort of person just to hug someone out of the blue like this. Maybe she trusted him? Though he couldn’t think of why.

“Wanted a hug?” He asked softly.

Jaune eats more or less whatever sounds good. His diet is oddly healthy for this, because he likes healthy food so much. He still probably has too many snacks for his own good though.

It was great to get out of class. Finally. It seemed like the first day of Beacon’s classes were the same as every other school he’d been to so far, which is to say a bunch of useless blathering.

But now he was out in the sunshine, wandering wherever the wind took him. He decided that to take a stroll around campus to enjoy the nice weather alongside his freedom. Who knows, maybe he could make some more new friends?
