He's fun! Got some great scenes and his voice is so amusingly edgy.

Oooooh??? I can only imagine him spewing out the most embarrassing lines that he’ll come to regret later in life as his friends constantly tease him over them. But I’m also really excited now because I’ve already fallen for him jefklajdfa.

Also, important question. But Hau makes it into the anime, right? I won’t be able to live with it if he doesn’t. He’s too sweet I gotta see him animated too.

Yiiikes, I'm sorry folks went and ragged on your lovely and positive AG movie post. Genwunners and DP/XY stans especially, I'm never going to understand how these folks never seem to grow up and quit assuming their taste is the end-all, be-all.

BFJSJFN LOL I KNOW I honestly didn’t expect that post to blow up as it did but I’m tired of reading comments that say “FUCK you THIS movie is the best one” and I’m like “Uhh okay? That’s your opinion not mine and it isn’t relevant to this post at all so go home” And they’re all so rude about it too;; I never said the other movies weren’t good I just said the Hoenn saga all put together is the best one and people don’t have to agree with that but they don’t have to start cursing me out either like. It’s really disrespectful

Aww, that preteen Sabrina cartoon!! I never see anything for it.

Yeah! I wish more people talked about it. It’s not as good as the sitcom but it’s still really cute and nostalgic. And it’s a lot better than the follow-up Sabrina’s Secret Life and then that CGI cartoon that was on The Hub a few years ago.

OS, early Johto! I feel like it's Wobby's first focus ep. He broke a boat, Jessie tried to kick Ash, he went missing and missed Jessie. I think the key for something was in his neck. Really good animation, Iwane I think?

Cont. Found it. Wayward Wobbuffet. Very fun episode.

Ah thank you as well. :D I probably SHOULD check that episode out. I’ll props start my first fullwatch project on OS and AG (only seen what was subbed to japanese, maybe bit less. :’D) soon, so looking forward to this :3

FINALLY, someone else unsettled by it? Like, who presses a finger to their older child's lips like that-- what kind of weird-- is it an indirect kiss? Not a shushing a gesture, so, like, what. And also, those words aren't heartwarming, they make me feel /anger./ When you weren't looking. Lusamine Better yet, she /always was./ But the way a lot of folks respond to it, like it's heartwarming and sweet???

Yeah, whether it’s a ~tender~ gesture, soothing, or shushing, with their history, it’s creepy and still-not-great (shushing would be the worst considering… Lillie just berated her for never listening to her children) :’). Does it look possessive to you, too? Bc to me it looks… aggressively so. And slightly infantilizing. Both of which, again — ooookaayy, zero progress here, Lusa.

And same thing for the line: it’s disturbing/horrible no matter how you look at it — Lusamine is still focusing on beauty! Is implying once more that she always thought her child was ugly! Is confirming that she never really looked at her until now, and/or that she didn’t pay attention enough to notice her change! Lillie has been trying to get through to her and connect with her and there’s zero emotional connection still! <3 Totally worth getting angry over (I remember thinking Lillie must be so frustrated and angry/disappointed right there and then, when I first saw this scene).

I’m guessing people are just taking it at face value: mother telling her daughter something technically sweet (for other people in other contexts)? :’) 

I mean, I love it. It’s a great, striking moment. But really not in heartwarming ways, yeah x’D

(Although, if one chooses to interpret Lusamine’s comment as referring to Lillie’s character and how she grew into a “beautiful person”, then that makes it a really lovely line and way more hopeful and putting Lusamine on the right track back already. That does work. But it’s not exactly the most-straightforward interpretation x’) )
