Nine banded armadillo skeleton I finished up. This armadillo was an unfortunate roadkill victim, so she has some damage to her skull, pelvis, and tail bones. Her armor is currently being dry preserved and will go with the skeleton once finished, and she’ll be available then.
(It is legal for me to salvage roadkill for taxidermy purposes where I live. This is not the case for every state, so please be aware of your local laws. Also, I always take the necessary precautions when working with animal remains. Armadillos are no different, and no- I do not have leprosy from working with armadillos.)
I always offer custom articulation work and commissions, along with pet memorial work. I can provide a wide variety of services, including bone/skull cleaning, articulations, wet preservation, dry preservation, and more. You can contact me anytime for details and to discuss your ideas!
