just found out that accidentally in love by counting crows was literally made for shrek. they didnt just choose it. it didnt exist before. they asked counting crows to make a song for shrek 2 and thats how we got one of the best songs ever made. insane.

Emergency Commissions!

Hey all, this is Gale, the past year has been a bit of a bumpy ride for me when it comes to my health. For those who are interested I was diagnosed with a rare genetic kidney disease (Infantile Nephronopithesis) and I was in critical kidney failure by the time I was 6 years old. I got a brand new kidney from my father when I was 8, but things with only one kidney have not always been smooth sailing since then. Due to a series of unforeseen medical issues related to my kidney, this past year has been a bit hard on me financially. Because of this I am opening some commissions to help cover my extra medical costs.

If you are interested I have 10 slots open for commission work. Prices are as listed above, however there may be some slight adjustments depending on how extensive of a piece you are looking for. I remembered that I'm an adult with free will, tools and hands and I can make my own board art/illustrations/end papers for books that aren't very popular but I love them.

This is Morkeleb the Black from Dragonsbane by Barbara Hambly. As it turns out it's one of my favorite books of all time. I don't want to talk too much about the book itself, you probably just should go give it a read and form your own opinions. All in all I simply love it and I think about it regularly.
