I was going to ask for help, but would you look at that, my headcanons combined with canon were just too powerful and finished it on their own

I know it's a bit chaotic, so here's a list of characters and clarifications:

Asexual: Tony Stark, Peter Parker, Matt Murdock, Steve Rogers, Ethan Hunt, Obi-Wan Kenobi* [UPDATE!!! CANON: aromantic asexual], Odo*

Aromantic: Dr. Stephen Strange*, Natasha Romanoff*, Loki*

Aroace: Spock, Data [CANON: asexual], the Eleventh Doctor [CANON: asexual], the Twelfth Doctor, the Thirteenth Doctor, Sherlock Holmes (classical) [CANON: aromantic asexual], the Mandalorian, Aziraphale [CANON: asexual], Snape

Other (in between two tiles, means their vibes emphasize one aspect of their orientation over the other): Crowley [CANON: asexual], Benji Dunn*, Sherlock (BBC)*

Asterisk (*): means I tend to headcanon them more as aroace, but am open to headcanoning them in the tiles where they are

Lol this took me an hour but it was so worth it! I didn't realize how many characters I headcanoned as ace, aro, or aroace until I did this...and this is just for movies and TV!! I have a whole 'nother one of these for books, comics, and other media (podcasts, etc.)

Ok I have a bunch of new snippets from the Season 2 TOS Novelizations but here are a couple of my faves--implied Aroace!Spock, babyyy and also some nice Jim and Spock moments

From Return to Tomorrow:

Spock's just like no really hang on wait I actually don't get it,,, help

And Jim's response is...I mean it isn't great at least initially from an aroace perspective (it does sound very much like "you just haven't met the right person yet but you will haha just wait till Pon Farr lol") though at the end he does seem to be a bit more accepting, not entirely but it is an improvement. But I have to laugh because Jim says all that and Spock is basically like "...aight I'll think about it..." Like I'm dying he "gravely considered the idea" me too buddy me too I do that when thinking about romance and the straights

But anyways I believe Jim didn't intend anything bad with it he just doesn't realize that the "together forever" he thinks Spock doesn't know about has already begun...doesn't he remember?

And yet despite his cluelessness "as [Spock] returned to his station, Kirk's eyes followed him with affection." My guy you are hopeless 😂

Hello! I saw that your ask is open for fic requests... I was wondering if u could do a spirk qpr thing where aroace Spock is trying to figure out how he wants to show affection. It’s hard bc some ways to show love make him uncomfortable (like verbal affection is hard), but he rlly wants to express his affection somehow. I guess the fic would be self discovery on what feels right to him. (u don’t have to write it if u don’t want to, I just wanted to put this out there 😊)
