Dude today in my Physics class I sit around this group of not-so-good boys, but the boy in front of me is nice (albeit a bit stupid). SO, this literal himbo forgot his backpack in the locker room and it was raining out. So his friend offers to walk him to class, but he doesn’t have an umbrella so he offers to “hold the backpack over his head to use as an umbrella”. After I tell them that I have an umbrella and my class is nearby, and I’d be willing to walk said himbo to class. Himbo says okay, but the other boys are laughing.
End of class, it’s not raining, and I leave without himbo. Then it hits me. Everyone thought I was offering this dude my umbrella because I was flirting with him, and they found it funny because I look pretty ugly.
My Brothers in Christ I am not romantically attracted to the man at all, he’s too dumb for me! THEY THOUGHT I WAS TRYING TO FLIRT! Dude, I have something called basic human compassion, and I don’t want another kid getting stuck in the rain.
Is this what aromantics feel like? Genuine question, but why does everyone perceive basic shit as romantic when I literally just wanted to help this guy because he had no fucking umbrella.
