(Good heavens my art style for Calvin and Art Teacher has changed over some months, I drew this back in June lmfao-)
Basically this is an AU based off the movie "Just Like Heaven" where I take the main idea, and get rid of the weird stuff and the subplot that barely even connects to the main plot and give it new life-

Calvin gets hit by an imaginary friend Truck-Kun and starts staying around as a ghost while he's in a coma, haunting Bee's grandma's place because he expects for Bee to come back, and she does, and expects her to see him, but she sees Art Teacher first going down the stairs because he went to the building to help Blossom with some things.
Everyone at the retirement home thinks that Art Teacher is now a replacement for Calvin, which freaks him out, and he starts getting angry at Art Teacher
(ps. Calvin and Art Teacher haven't met before the truck incident; they were going to meet but then it happened. And the incident happened a few days after Calvin decided to go to the home after the funeral of Bee and (technically) his mum's so he's still in the early stages of the grieving process and starts freaking out over the replacement thing because he has seen before in shows and movies that that happens, and right now he thinks everybody is ignoring him, because he doesn't know that he's in a coma)
Art Teacher tries calming him down and wonders who he even is, considering he reappears and dissappears for some reason. He asks Bee if she could look for something related to this "ghost," and she decides to go through her old stuff. She wonders who this "Calvin" in her drawing is but dismisses it, and decides to go to the hospital for her dad.
Art Teacher decides to stay back and try to reason with Calvin and asks what his name even is, and Calvin starts stammering but then sees the drawing and says that he's Calvin. Art Teacher soon realises that he's got amnesia and now is trying to look for clues over what is going on alongside him, cue wacky shenanigans, a momentary possession, Bee dealing with grief alongside Calvin with the help of Art Teacher, and Sunny being high-
Also there is a slow burn subplot between Calvin and Art Teacher and Calvin starts learning about his "ghost"-like powers, and, welp
