City or Country: Country. I stay in the city too long I feel like I’m living in a hive of insects and I freak out.

23. Biggest secret?
Ohhh, that one is a bit difficult, to be honest. Athim is a fairly open, unassuming dork. Generally, it falls to him to keep secrets for everyone else. But one of the big ones? I’d say Athim is not as distrustful of shems as Ly and the Dalish think he should be. He’ll talk the talk and walk the walk but his policies with humans are more lenient than is probably prudent.
24. What does your OC smell like?
Athim’s scent is kind of…pine and melted snow. It’s a very earthy, woodsy smell and sometimes it’s tinged with a kind of herbal scent as Athim tends to make poultices and teas.
36. What turns your OC on?
Athim, like most elves, has extremely sensitive ears and having their tips touched, kissed, nibbled or licked is usually a sure way to get his attention. He also likes the sensation of fingernails gently raked across his chest and stomach. Athim is fairly quiet, but I think he likes hearing that his lover is enjoying themselves.
47. Does your OC tolerate violence?
That really depends on who the violence is against. Athim is generally very nonviolent and likes to solve things peacefully if relations can be salvaged. Generally speaking, he believes that it has a time and a place and he trusts the counsel of those closest to him in regards to making decisions about whether or not a violent approach to a solution is necessary.
In the Tanaleth AU, to say it was a sense of friction between him and Ly would be understating it. Whereas Ly solves things with decisive action that usually results in violence even if indirect, Athim would prefer to be kinder.
That being said, Athim is an extremely adept Knight Enchanter capable of both taking a beating and delivering one so Mythal help you if you ever threaten his clan, his mate, or anyone close to him.
Elain is a really heavy sleeper. She swears she doesn't snore, but Revas knows better.
PFFT. Revas KNOWS. That’s adorable :D also the mental image of a snoring Elain is perfect.
So I was delighted when I got this one because oh boy do I have headcanons about Ly’s sleep patterns: She’s always been an incredibly light sleeper and suffers from night terrors that didn’t fade with adolescence so much as she grew to deal with them and now only occasionally wakes up screaming blood murder.
They are partially caused by Doubt, a particularly virulent and intelligent Fear demon who has stalked her dreams ever since she was very young.
In the presence of a somniari(such as Syth, Fel or Solas) the severity of the nightmares is greatly lessened. It’s not uncommon for people to see dark circles around Athim’s eyes and make racy comments that his bondmate is keeping him up. Yeah, snuggling and calming Ly back into coherency without super Fade powers is a chore. :(
As Inquisitor, Ly is very dependent on caffeine and anything to keep her up. Five to six hours a night is her average, with a mini nap or two in between.
