oh jeeez this is hard. I don’t really have any individual songs I’m obsessed with rn so let’s just go with some new favourites:

1. This Fire - Ben Rosenbush and the Brightons (feels like home, and how painful it can be, esp with the lyrics: “tell me how/can you live in a burning house”)2. Rivers and Roads - The Head and the Heart (feels like finding a home and then having to leave it behind; also really reminds me of CrossingsCon: “nothin' is as it has been/and I miss your face like hell”)3. Fire Escape - Half Moon Run (feels like contentment and peace: “hey, dark eyes/rest with me a while as I drift closer to sleep”)4. Mountain Song - Little Chief (another v sweet, encouraging, “let’s go find out” kinda song: “but now is the time/to see what we can find”)5. Top 5 seasons for Sam love

ahhhh you sweet bab 

okay, let’s see (it’s been a billion years since i’ve rewatched the earlier seasons, so pls bear with me this might end up being complete gobbledygook, as i am operating entirely off my terrible terrible memory lol) (also i know the whole thing was “top 5″ but legit this it in no particular order) 

season 3 - like, ik that a lot of it was due to the fact that dean was dying in a year, but i remember there being a decent amount of focus on sam’s feelings and his struggle with grief and Letting Go and all that (more so, i think, than really with season 1, because it’s dean and also spn is super notorious for devaluing female characters so sam’s grief over jess (though occasionally brought up for ~plot purposes~) was largely glossed over, i felt) 

seasons 4&5 - even if the fandom at large seems to interpret this completely differently than i do, like. it’s super obvious that sam (and dean, rly) was being heavily manipulated (on top?? of being mired in grief and in an emotional tailspin and okay dean’s resurrection is not going to automatically fix that shit bc feelings are more complex than bodies but whateves) but like!!! 4 and 5 are really just building up to Swan Song and even though sam is continuously punished from that point on it’s really obvious to me that that whole goddamn plot arc was about the fact that sam would do anything for dean (for the world, too, for anyone who needed him, but mostly for dean) anD hE dOEs. like. the whole point of it was that his love for his brother was enough to stop the machinations of heaven and hell (and also, i mean. season four was kind of the antithesis to swan song in that: not only is sam willing and able to do great good, but he’s also capable of falling to great depths and that is super tragic) basically these are the “Sam Winchester Is Capable Of So Much Love, For Better Or Worse” seasons and it kills me that these are the seasons that both the fandom and the narrative use to paint him as ~selfish~ and ~evil~

the last quarter of season 6 and season 7 - purely for “it me” reasons bc Mental Illness and yeah i don’t have a manifestation of the actual devil in my brain but i’ve got to tell you some days it feels like it also sam is my precious broken baby still finding the strength to help someone while he is dying

season 8 - sorry i can’t hear u over “these trials are purifying me, dean” like pls excuse me while i fLING MYSELF INTO THE SUN

SEASON NOW 12 - im???? this is the season that actually got me watching again after the crapshoot that was 9 through 11 collectively. just. LOOK AT MY BABY BEING RESPECTED AND ADMIRED. LOOK AT HIM SAVING PEOPLE AND MAKING FRIENDS. MY BRIGHT AND SHINY BASTION OF COMPASSION AND GOODNESS AND HOPE. LOOK AT HIM.

If Once were to have an LGBT relation (that was around for more than an episode), who would you pick and how would it work into the current storylines?

Great question! Thanks for asking. :)

I would love to see some Dragon Queen (like several people would, I believe). I love the established relationship (friendship with believable chemistry) between the two women and I feel like they could fall in together easily in a way that would not feel forced. Mal has a bit of an untold story with Lily, so they could easily bring in that thread to this season, and Regina could help her and further her own redemption arc by helping find Lily’s father and making up for keeping Mal in her dragon form during the curse. There’s a lot to work with there and I think it would be glorious to behold and support. 

Of course, I would love to see Mulan get her chance with Aurora. If there were ever a character that got the shaft (so to speak, of course), it’s Mulan. Talk about untold stories. Sigh...
