Prompt #296
BBC, Sherlock/Everyone
As If Not Spoken To in The Act of Love by ColouredInk
8k, Smut/Light Angst, NC-17
Author’s Summary: “ Sherlock endures the indignities, bodies squirming against one another, the sweat, the saliva, because of John's jam in the fridge and sour-breathed kisses in the morning. “
My Summary: Sherlock and John have sex, Sherlock doesn’t like it, but doesn’t know how to tell John this, for fear of him leaving. This fic is so heartbreakingly in character and real, that it will break your chest right open.
Prompt #186
BBC Sherlock/John
Let me repeat this for people in the back:
Asexuality does not mean that there can not be a gay relationship. Asexuality has nothing to do with falling in love. Asexuality has nothing to do with being gay/straight/bi/pan or whatever. And yes, the series does need it. It’s been building up since the pilot/first episode (pilot was more blatant). We’ve had straight Sherlock too many times; it’s time for change and representation.
John and Sherlock are in love. That’s it. That’s all that matters.

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Sherlock (TV) Rating: Teen And Up Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Sherlock Holmes/Molly Hooper Characters: Sherlock Holmes, Molly Hooper, Greg Lestrade Additional Tags: Asexual Sherlock, Asexual Molly, Panromantic Sherlock, biromantic Molly Summary:
With John, as Sherlock tells Lestrade, "not really in the picture any more", Sherlock is left to contemplate the reality that even if he had wanted anything greater than friendship with him, it is no longer a possibility. Molly Hooper has been searching for someone who wants her just as she is-- not as a DIY project or a means to get to someone else. Often, in chemistry, reactants are artificially manipulated --heated, stirred agitated--to force reactions. While rapid, they can consume excess energy and damage the environment. Slow Chemistry simply combines the right ingredients, and waits. It is a natural, unforced process which is ultimately less destructive, though powerful.
