Just wondering if you think any of the characters are Asexual?
I know Dorian leans towards aro/ace, but do you think anyone who is interested in dating is ace?
It's very obvious that Dorian is some sort of aspect, especially for Aromantic! But I've thought of some other characters that are probably on the spectrum as well.
I was actually thinking about this earlier, but I can easily imagine Jean Loo being Asexual. He doesn't seem at all interested in sex (mostly due to being a toilet, and what he said after you realize him). But he's definitely a guy who dates (me, he's dating me).
Bodhi just gives off demi vibes, definitely needs more time than most to feel comfortable enough to date someone. Such a sweetheart he is, wanting to make sure he knows you well enough before he gets with you.
Ben-Hwa. Now here my out, Aromantic on some kind of level. I just have a feeling, y'know?
Friar Errol, same reasons as Bodhi really. Plus the fact that he devouts himself to his religion, he sometimes comes off as picky on who he gets with (he uses that as an excuse to cover up the fact he doesn't get romantic attraction for many people)
Keith. I'm not a huge fan of him so I could just be saying this as a hater. Just seems like the type of guy who gets attached to anyone, romantic or platonic. Could be wrong but maybe he just doesn't experience romantic attraction at all.
I could see Keyes as Asexual. On the spectrum of it so it's not like she never wants sex, it's just something that isn't a common thing for her. If you ask very nicely she might indulge you, and if she ever comes to you saying she's in the mood you better not reject her.
That's all I can think of right now, if anyone has any other opinions on this feel free to comment, I'd love to hear what y'all have to say!
As for the second question, and I've mentioned this above, Asexuality is a spectrum, as well as being Aromantic. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all, sometimes it takes awhile to feel a certain way about someone, sometimes it just is. Just because someone says they're aro and/or ace does not mean they automatically won't ever date or have sex, it's just not something that interests them as much.
Someone can be ace and still be interested in dating, and vice versa! Feelings don't always have to be involved during sex, and relationships don't thrive off of sex. It's really up to personal preference!
