If you don't like reading about torture, torture tropes or anything like that, now is your time to click off my page.
I like military whump. A lot.
I reblog whumpy stuff I find interesting. This is a whump-only blog, so don't worry about following me and getting random crap on your home page.
I also post dialogue prompts/whump prompts in general. I put them all under a single tag so they're easily found (#ash_prompts). Feel free to use them, but PLEASE do not use parts of my actual stories. It'll be clear which is which.
I have an OC named Bella. She's an assassin. Her best friend (and mentor) is Max. She got discharged from the army after nearly drowning, and got talked into working for a private military company doing hit jobs. She gets tortured. I post scenes about her sometimes. I tag those with #bella ashby. General posts about the worldbuilding will be under #private ashby
The story I'm writing is set in 2040ish, in post-WWIII Russia, in a fictional country named Moscow (yeah, really original of me...). Oh yeah did I mention Bella also killed their president and that's why she's in this mess?
My favorite whump tropes (in no particular order) are:
Prisons/Secret Government sites
Torture (waterboarding, broken bones, beatings, though not a fan of whips)
Intimate/overly touchy/sadistic whumper
medical whump (no pain control, comas, intubation)
handcuffed/tied up/restraints (especially hands behind back)
Military stuff (guns, war, anything labeled "top secret", being rude to your subordinates, etc)
left for dead/presumed dead
(clinical settings) talking about characters like they aren't in earshot
Also. If you scroll back far enough, I have older art and writing. I won't link it, because I find it cringe, but it's still up for those stubborn enough to look.
Also also: my asks are open! Feel free to send me anything there like prompt requests or whatever.
