ok so first off, i’m really bad at writing meaningful things. but, i just really wanted to post this image of me with this wonderful shirt on.
to keep this short and sweet... i’ll start by saying people who know me, know what type of music i listen to. and then there’s those people who don’t know me that’ll probably judge me and my music decisions. i only say judge because 1) i don’t talk or post about a lot of the musicians i listen to (which is a lot of independent artists) and 2) i was somehow super late to the one direction party. i’m not one to hardcore fangirl about bands or people in front of others (unless it’s my mum or at concerts) so, i just kind of keep it to myself. i honestly didn’t listen to any one direction music (i only listened to the radio singles :P) until harry’s self-titled album came out and that’s when i really fell in love with them and harry’s own album/style (no pun intended.) so the more i listened to both of their music, i realized that they’re all pretty talented individuals. i know a couple weeks ago harry started touring and this shirt came out (black t-shirt with white font) with the same saying and i loved it. it reminded me of cinderella’s quote, “have courage and be kind.” it’s one of those sayings that really resonates with me. i hardly have courage half the time, but i’m always trying to be a better person and more kind to others. i know people can be harsh, and i really feel like this saying can go a long way. people do need to treat others with kindness. i know our world could use a lot of it. <3 p.s. i’m so happy with this image (it has become one of my favorites) and it took me quite some time to get this shot so i could get the right lighting. and also not look horrible through half of the photos because i’m pretty miserable with a cold and mild fever right now. p.p.s. thank you harry for creating this saying and shirt. <3
